Tonight I was blown away by experiencing the conducting of prodigy Aku Sorensen. Ooooh my; this is next level. #CSPhilharmonic nearly moved me to tears with just “Appalachian Spring” by Copland….and this was rehearsal! I also love working with my new pal @claylish Let’s GO. #grateful. @csphilharmonic @entcenterarts #collab

✨✨✨Coming up soon!! ✨✨✨✨

Just enjoyed a fabulous week with @sphereensemble! Next up, looking forward to heading up to Cheyenne this week for rehearsals with @cheyennesymphony and then a little sweet counterpoint cycle with @csphilharmonic and @boulderphil! Busy time but a good time. It’s been 10 months of the biggest roller coaster :)))

Looking forward to closing out October with this program! I’ll be joined by pianists @ashley.piano and @madoka.asari 🖤🖤🖤

🎶On September 25th, band and orchestra students at Doherty were audience members at an incredibly special performance! Pianist Jean Baptiste Doulcet, was visiting Colorado Springs to play with the Philharmonic and stopped by Doherty for a short performance, Q&A, and coaching one of our very own students! We are so thankful for our partnership with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic, for giving students opportunities like this! 🎶

I’m grateful to have performed my first official concert as the newly appointed Associate Principal Flute II with @csphilharmonic. It was an absolute pleasure making music alongside such wonderful and inspiring colleagues, and I’m thankful for the warm welcome and support throughout the week.

I’m excited for all that’s ahead and very grateful for this opportunity to be part of this orchestra. Here’s to a great season! ✨
