Thank you all for coming out to Culture Shock San Diego’s Inaugural Shock Value Choreographer’s Showcase! We are so grateful to everyone who made the evening so special. Thank you to our talented dancers, dedicated choreographers, staff, & leadership, and engaged audience members who made the night one to remember.

The theme of this year’s event highlighted the autonomy, identity, and legacy of our organization and all of the dancers who have called Culture Shock home. Founded in 1993 by Angie Bunch, Culture Shock has been a pillar of hip hop community in San Diego for over 30 years. At Shock Value, we were recognized by San Diego County Supervisor Paloma Aguirre. Thank you @supervisoraguirre and her office for helping us pay tribute to the artists that came before and celebrate the dancers that continue to come through our doors!

Maneater at Sweet Escape 2026 hosted by @sweetdreamsdance

I’m so incredibly honored to have been given the opportunity to lead a set for @cssdtroupe . I want to express immense gratitude to my director @erajenae for trusting me and giving guidance throughout this process. This set was inspired by all of the different representations of femininity that has inspired me to embrace my own. I’m so thankful for my team for giving me their all and absolutely killing it. It’s still crazy to say that we completed this set in 2 weeks with many adjustments on the way. All the love to these talented individuals I had the honor to share the stage with❤️

Directed by: Emily Pham and Era Molina @erajenae
Choreographed by: Emily Pham | Sharwin Sese @kaywellnearsese | Dylan Tibbetts @dylantibbettss | Era Molina
[ō*] : @keepingupllc and @emmangination_studios
Music: Maneater by Nelly Furtado

To every dancer, family, instructor, staff member, work study team member, alumnus, and supporter: THANK YOU! This recognition belongs to all of us. We couldn’t do it without you!

Here’s to continuing to move, inspire, and make an impact—together. ✨

At last, a moment to pause
To breathe and notice all that’s been
Thinking back to a time of dreams
But these days I’m living in them
The color more vivid than I even imagined
The reward far different that I was lead to believe
Not what I achieve but the love and the joy it brings

The past week+ has been a whirlwind and my body’s definitely feeling it 😅 but what a blessing it is to be doing all the things with amazing people 🥰

Comic Con. Sweet Escape.
@leshai_band video shoot. 👀 stay tuned
