What major can launch you right into a leadership role or into owning your own business? What major boasts the highest job placement rate with an average starting salary above 60K? Here’s an inside look at the academic spaces within the Construction Management major!

1. The Industrial Sciences building is where a lot of the classroom instruction for the CM major takes place.
2. This class dives right into discussion about a construction project within the community and will later feature a guest speaker from a local business.
3.This plumbing lab lets students learn “on the job” in a half-constructed house that lives inside the Industrial Sciences lab building.
4. Students are involved in every step of construction, from the initial build to the layout plans, to the wiring and plumbing, to the finishing touches.
5. Think construction is all about being inside? Think again: this class teaches valuable surveying skills, and our students get to survey right on the grassy, tree-filled Oval.
6. Sure, the spaces mean you’ll get both classroom time and hands-on lab time, but did you know there’s a third perk? Virtual Reality CM classes are a thing, and they’re elevating the way students learn.
7. Here’s an inside look at the Industrial Sciences lab building, where students get to work with the same technology and machinery used in real-world construction projects.
8. CM Cares is a program that takes the Construction Management major a step further than many other programs. Incorporating service into the major is a huge part of what it means to be a Ram.
9. Ready to see what’s it’s like to be Ram Built? We’d love to show you more of the CM academic spaces. Check out admissions.colostate.edu/cm
