The Carp Journey has been a fun one. It started with @ct.fly.angler showing us the way and teaching us how to approach the fish and what to look for. After hours of fishing them we came up empty handed but had plenty of shots, a first for everything. After that I ended up taking my Dad out on a Guided trip with my good buddy @conor.m5 @tight_lineoutfitters to catch some shad. We came across some feeding carp in the shallows and got out on foot to take a few shots at them. After a few well placed casts we were able to convince the carp to eat and were even able to double up. Thankful for every opportunity on the Fly rod and the places it takes me . I was able to stop this giant with the @diamondbackflyrods 6 Weight I had on hand. Cheers to a Bucket list fish on the fly!🎣🔥🔥🐟🍻🍻 #mirrorcarp #carponthefly #flyfishing #sonyfx3 #flyfishingfilm
