POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Not only were lives touched and gifts given, the spirit was touched too. 🥹❤️

We came to give, but God did more. 🙏🏽✨
Watching these children pray with such faith reminded us that true impact goes beyond what we can see.

God bless the *Yahweh Youth Charity*

I went to host.
I left being hosted by my own thoughts. 🥹
Last Saturday, I had the privilege of hosting and moderating the launch of #TheParentCircle.

I thought my job was simply to hold the room, guide the conversations, and keep the program moving.
But the conversations? The guest speaker? The things I heard?
They made me look inward.
One statement that stayed with me was:
“Parenting is first about you, not your child, because you are the environment your child grows up in.”

Whew.
I learned that parenting is a sacred duty.
That parenting is about preparing a child for destiny.
That you are your child’s inheritance the way you think, the way you respond, the things you believe, and even the things you haven’t healed.

And then came the one that really made me pause:
“Your first assignment as a parent is to HEAL. Anything you don’t heal can repeat in your children.”

That one sent me into deep reflection.
What did my parents do that hurt me?
What have I unconsciously carried with me?
What do I need to unlearn?
What kind of home do I want to create?
I want a home that is peaceful.

A safe place for my children and my husband.
A place they look forward to coming back to. ❤️
Then someone asked:
“What would your children say about you at your 70th birthday?”
That question stayed with me.
And I’m still thinking about it.

I also learned that avoiding confrontation doesn’t necessarily mean you have peace. Sometimes, you need to intentionally look for trouble just to have the conversation. 😂

Because real peace may require difficult conversations.

So I’m taking these words with me:
GROW.
LEARN.
HEAL.
UNLEARN.
CHOOSE PEACE.

I came as the moderator.
I left as a learner.
And honestly, I’m grateful. 🤍

Thank you, @ctshotitt for creating a space that goes beyond parenting tips and invites us to look at the people we are becoming. Thankyou @ewaeniodunjo for such a transforming session 🤍

PEACE. 🕊️

The idea of everyone going together in the same space was ochestrated by the host herself @imolecounselling

This made everyone bond even before we got to our location. It was one of the few road trips that was chaotic yet exhilarating from the beginning of the trip till the very end.

It was when the program finished that we tried reminiscing on the event on the bus to know that The Versatile Mc engaged the people for more than 2hours non-stop.

"You are ouuuut" was the signature of the day.
Thanks to @ctshotitt for doing a great job by putting all the videos together. @3plea_events did a yeoman's job with the images. Big ups to @imolecounselling for yet a great Couple's Retreat that will go down into the history books.

This is a glimpse behind the scenes of what we have been creating. To tell a proper story, it is never a one-person job, but it takes vision, collaboration, and people who believe in the story.

And this is only the beginning.🫢🫢
