POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We'd like to give a HUGE thanks to the Rantoul Community for the fantastic time we all had Saturday! With 40 vendors and organizations, more than 700 people stepped into our library throughout the day, and we couldn't be more thankful for the way it turned out 🫶

Thank you to @lincolnschallengeacademy for providing volunteers and the color guard, @rthsmusic for bringing the marching band out, @rantoultheatergroup and the Brookstone Players for performing, and Mayor Sam Hall III for speaking. Many thanks to our local Walmart for donating food and drinks to staff and volunteers, and to everyone who donated prizes for our raffle!

Plans for next year are already in the works, so if you couldn't make it this year (or if you would like to represent your organization), stay tuned for news about #WelcomeRantoul2027

‼️ADOPT THAT ANIMAL‼️🐇🐈‍⬛️🐕🐾 These designs will be available this weekend at our booth in Lincoln Square Mall, and all proceeds will be donated to @cu_humane ! Featuring some current residents :)

Last time, it was so special to see community bring change through my art. As someone with mad imposter syndrome I never imagined my art could move people to action, and I never thought I held "enough" to resonate with anyone. Yet I'm here, and I know I won't stop creating until my body fails me. Even then, I'd probably still find a way - because my soul would probably d!e anyways if I stoped.

So I'll be continuing this practice in all in-person events! I'll have one new design/series for a cause, and 100% of those sales will go to a chosen local nonprofit. This is my commitment to all of you, in order for us to continue to find hope in today's world. 💛💚

Love you all, & keep searching for hope because it's all around us! 🐾

In the calm before kitten season, we’re helping a very special girl find a very special home 💛

Meet Spitfire 🐈
This 7-month-old tabby was found crying in a field in October 2025. After intake at the Champaign County Humane Society, it was discovered she’s completely blind. The neurology team at the University of Illinois confirmed she also has stable, non-progressive neurological defects that give her an adorable high-step walk.

What does that mean? 🤨
No special medical care needed, just a safe, consistent home.

She’s basically the world’s coolest Roomba: mapping her space (walls included) and devouring food at record speed.
She may need a little time to warm up, but once she trusts you, she’s a certified lap cat. 💫

‼️‼️Spitfire is available through Champaign County Humane Society and currently in foster. Please apply online and call to schedule an appointment to meet her! ‼️‼️

Blind. Wobbly. Absolutely unstoppable. Endlessly entertaining. Your new best friend 💕✨

JFC, if Nico were alive today, she’d be a #sophomore in college. I’d imagine she’d be majoring in Barkonomics, with a minor in Arf History.

Still, I miss her everyday, and I cherish the time we spent together. And if it wasn’t for her, my deep-rooted obsession with dogs and animals would had never developed. What’s more, this account wouldn’t have even existed, and my pursuit in multimedia would probably have never grown into a full career.

Thank you for all the years, and Happy Birthday, Nico.

Supporting our community in these tough times can include supporting our four-legged neighbors as well. Relinquishing an animal to a shelter can be a heartbreaking decision, but with community support perhaps we can help keep pets in their homes. Philanthropy Spotlight⭐ This semester our brothers and Fall ‘25 candidates have participated in multiple service and fundraising events to help support our philanthropic partnership with Cunningham Children’s Home and Champaign County Humane Society!

Through hosting events like a pickleball tournament, Beta Alpha PIE, a Thanksgiving Dinner, and restaurant fundraisers we were able to raise money to donate directly to Cunningham Children’s Home! 🏠

Additionally, our Fall ‘25 class toured both the Cunningham and the Humane Society Facilities to get a direct look into our Philanthropic partners.

Lastly, thanks to our Service Day Chair, Keerthana, we were able to carry out our first ever BAP Service Day, volunteering for Salt & Light as well as Hospice Hearts Animal Rescue🙌🏼
