I’ve always liked the way the shop looked at night. It’s always given me a def poetry jam, spoken word kind of vibe. I’m not so fashionable, but that’s my style 📕

All jokes aside, @ctgrgov did well in representing at BATTLE OF THE NATIONS for the first time. It was a great experience and I personally learned a lot, like Mountain Crow NDNs are big Mofos‼️💥 How’d y’all do? ⬇️

Annual pilgrimage to the UW Quad for the cherry blossom bloom. Gorgeous as always. Lots of people taking all sorts of pictures, including some weird AF. And I say that in the most endearing Seattle way possible. People are creative. Gabi dressed like a strong, independent woman who needs no man who just got done with a successful deposition.

Our goal isn’t to be the best hoop run in the city. We’ve been doing the work consistently for 8+ years running, and becoming one of the best runs in the city is a microcosm of a purpose much greater!

Countless connections have been made at a Hoops in the Park run, jobs created, friends made, young fellas learning from the vets, mentees becoming mentors, and providing a safe, healthy and preventive space for adults and young adults alike. That’s how you help build community.

It’s easy to peep game and replicate these words, and thats’s okay because it’s a seed to replicate the actions. 🏀🌱🌲

As the end (for a while anyway) to my tenure with @respond_to_racism draws closer, we have one more project where we could really use some community support. We’re in the @giveguide this year and our goal is to raise $15,000.

Why? Not just do we want to continue providing intentional, public antiracism programming throughout Clackamas County, but we want to support organizers to do the in-between that doesn’t always neatly lend itself to volunteer hours:
-Youth outreach and engagement
-Leadership development and train-the-trainer work that powers issues campaigns
-Meeting the community members most affected by overt and institutional racism where they’re at
-Designing, hosting and facilitating the community activities that build the relationships that sustain this work through the hard stretches

Please consider donating to support the continuation of RtR! Every donation over $50 will receive entry into an exclusive open house at @whiterabbitbookcafe in January! Make sure to make your donations at giveguide.org/nonprofits/rtr. Please also consider supporting our community partners @friendsoftryoncreek and @portlandstreetartalliance and the various other organizations featured in the 2025 Give Guide!

Last but not least, big thanks to our business partners for this campaign, White Rabbit Book Cafe, @culturalblends and Davidson & Watson Financial!
