Crazy that modern-day feminism teaches women to be masculine.

Can't understand why a concept with the word “feminine” in the name is over emphasizing the importance of masculinity and damn near neglecting the beauty and necessity of femininity.

On the flight home from a trip to Colombia, an older Indian couple sat next to me.

I asked the gentleman what he did. He was an engineer of some sort. I asked his wife, she said “I just help at home and with the kids.” She looked ashamed. She continued, “I know it's not that important.”

I corrected her immediately, saying that the path she chose & the responsibilities she carried were extremely important and are, in fact, a fundament of a functional family and society.

I said "I admire you and that I'm thankful for your contribution & I know that your husband and children are too."

She had no reason to feel ashamed of such a feat other than the societal pressures caused by modern feminist narratives.

Feminism has done great things, it's a movement that I respect in many ways.

But lately it's been misconstrued & diluted into a trope that's coercing women into believing that their historical roles & contributions are somehow less important than those of men.

The “boss babes” & "independent women" showcase a glamorous lifestyle. Nice clothes, nice cars, nice trips, fancy businesses & often only bear responsibility to themselves.

Well guess what. If your mama did that, your ass wouldn't be here.

We have a responsibility to the human race to keep it alive.

A woman who's dedicated her life to keeping a home & raising a family should NEVER have to feel less-than because of that choice. She should feel as accomplished, if not MORE than any doctor, lawyer or politician because her job is infinitely more essential.

Motherhood is a part of the very foundation & essence of our existence & all we are as humans, families and societies and one of the greatest roles a woman can play. I'm

That's not an understatement. Some of y'all don't hear me tho.

Well, hear this:
Be "independent" for too long & you'll die that way.
