Analog mastering studio in Fulda — the side nobody films.

From the front a studio is furniture. From the back it’s the truth: every patch, every cable, one decision each, all of them audible months later without anyone knowing why.

I don’t tidy up before I shoot.

Send this to the producer whose setup looks exactly the same.

Proof of life post. I've been at it 7 days a week since April. I'll elaborate more when (read: IF) I have time. But here's some images of some of the things I've been up to this summer.

Short story short: The console arrived at the school, my mastering desk is complete, and the Obama Presidential Library is incredible.

See y'all soon.

Studio rituals — where rhythm meets soul ☮️

Speaker measurements are done, and the second monitor setup is ready in the lab. These classic Genelec speakers are back in action for mixing and mastering in the new space. Small, vintage, but still delivering that gold-standard sound.

We don’t go heavy handed with EQ, but we have things covered both surgically and in broad strokes.
