This Mendota Heights remodel turned a once-constrained kitchen into an open, connected gathering space, removing structural columns and introducing warm white oak, custom cabinetry, a statement waterfall island, and thoughtful details to work with how the homeowner lives today.

And this is just one space you can tour this weekend only during Remodelers Showcase.

This weekend, explore reimagined kitchens, transformed main levels, refreshed bathrooms, whole-home renovations, and more—all in person—all for free. It’s a chance to see what’s possible within an existing home and meet the remodelers bringing these transformations to life.

The Remodelers Showcase is happening Oct. 2-4 from noon to 6 p.m. in the Twin Cities and noon to 4 p.m. in Rochester. Browse the spaces & plan your Remodelers Showcase weekend at ParadeofHomes.org.

Proof that an underused porch can become one of the best spaces in the house. 🦋

This Minnetonka screened-in porch was collecting dust, dirt and bugs, and the homeowners wanted more from the space.

So @customonerenovation transformed it into a three-season sleeping porch with new windows, custom ceiling draping, Italian wallpaper, integrated lighting and details that feel completely personal to the home.

Now it works as a cozy retreat, an extra place for guests and a space the homeowners can enjoy for more of the year.

Swipe to see where it started. →

Sometimes, the best way to make a space work harder is to take a few walls away. 👏

For this foyer and office transformation, we removed three walls to open up the entryway, great room, and dining area, completely changing the flow of the main level.

The goal? More function, more seating, and a space that feels just as welcoming for everyday family life as it does for holidays and entertaining.

A new entry door, defining millwork, custom buffet cabinetry, lighting, flooring, paint, and thoughtful details brought the entire space together. What was once a closed-off office is now part of a warm, open area designed for gathering.

A little less wall. A lot more possibility. ✨

This used to be a screened porch. 🦋

Now? It’s a three-season sleeping porch that’s equal parts cozy, functional and unexpected.

We transformed this Minnetonka space into an extension of the home, adding more protection from the elements, natural light and plenty of personality along the way.

@mattjmuenster is giving us a quick look at the finished space. More of this transformation coming soon. 👀

Here’s what nobody tells you about the homes you can’t stop screenshotting: it’s never the furniture. It’s the layers… texture on texture, statement tile, the one risk someone was brave enough to take.

And knowing where to take that risk and where to invest is the entire game. So we’re settling it!

One of our favorite things? When a new client pulls out photos of our past projects as their inspiration. 🫶🏻 Safe to say this space has had a few familiar references along the way… and honestly, we’re not mad about it. It’s the biggest compliment knowing our designs continue inspiring future homes long after the project is complete.
