🚨 BIG ANNOUNCEMENT. THE OCTOBER 24 CONVERSATION JUST GOT BIGGER. 🚨

As Jennifer Weiss-Wolf brings When in Menopause to Jersey City, we’re taking the next step:

The Flow Initiative is officially partnering with TechUnited:NJ to bring women’s health, advocacy, entrepreneurship, technology, and innovation into the same room.

And we’re thrilled to announce that Claude Silver — Chief Heart Officer at VaynerX and member of TechUnited:NJ’s Board of Advisors — will join Eiko La Boria as co-moderator, bringing her perspective on workplace culture, emotional intelligence, human-centered leadership, and what it means to design systems around real people.

Because awareness is only the beginning.

The bigger question is:

WHAT DO WE BUILD DIFFERENTLY NOW THAT WOMEN ARE FINALLY TELLING US WHAT THEY NEED?

We’re carrying one message into the room:

**STOP APOLOGIZING FOR YOUR BODY.

START ADVOCATING FOR IT.**

For needing information.
For asking questions.
For expecting better care.
For needing workplaces that understand women’s bodies.
For demanding that products, policies, technology, and systems finally catch up.

October 24 | Jersey City
From Menstrual Equity to Menopause: Where Women’s Health Meets Innovation
Jennifer Weiss-Wolf in conversation with Eiko La Boria & Friends
with Claude Silver, Co-Moderator

This isn’t just another conversation about women’s health. It’s a conversation about what we build next.

🔥 Come be in the room.

FREE TO ATTEND, RSVP REQUIRED.

10 YEARS OF ANDCO 🎉
Ten years ago when the term “working from home” was not a common concept, the first Andco opened. The foundation of the space was not a large room with computers, desks and people paying to be here. Andco was idealized, built and crafted with one thing in mind — serving a community. Looking around at our city, it was easy to see the needs of independent artists, entrepreneurs and individuals who think outside the box. We wanted a space to serve them, not the other way around. So, here we are, ten years later with endless memories, collaborations, events, happy hours and meaningful connections to look back on. What a blessing. Thank you to everyone who participated in any way during this journey! HERE IS TO TEN MORE 💫

I’m incredibly proud to have been part of RESIST! a community art exhibit this past weekend and deeply thankful to @cutpasteface for curating, and to @knittygrittyjc for presenting such a special show.

As part of @falloffreedom and @jc_artandstudiotour , RESIST! brought our community together in a way that felt especially necessary—a reminder that we have each other, that we continue to push forward, and that we continue to RESIST!

My triptych “Solidarity Not Sympathy: Emmett Till, Trayvon Martin, Nolan Wells,” brings three young lives into conversation across time—placing their stories side by side, not to collapse their individual experiences, but to honor the thread of memory, grief, and resistance that connects them.

As artists we have a responsibility and the work asks us to look, to remember, and to sit with the weight of what has been lost. To create is to remember. To remember is to RESIST!

Love,
Her xo

an excerpt from my latest poem, titled ‘(dys)tort’ - short for dystopian distortion

our daily reality living in this country.

this poem will be a work in progress as long as the system continues to crumble. many iterations to come.

RESIST! is a one day exhibition during #JCAST with @knittygrittyjc that centers themes of resistance, protest, and imagined changed within our futures.

(dys)tort will be on view alone with the works of many local artists like @patch.just.tries @mmaarriinneell @ohatheners @booramicsbydani @s1renasoul @trigonis @brianwinstonfraser & many more!

shoutout to @cutpasteface for curating 🌺

Sat. 10/3 | 12-7p with live readings & performances at 6p

yes, it’s a group show!

come through

finished product, not too shabby!

Poetry & Art is resistance. Wrapping this mat in traditional garment from Africa is resistance, putting my anger and frustration down on paper is my resistance/my release/my contribution to documenting the society we are wading in.

come see this piece in all its glory

*noting that so much information is developing since me “completing” this portion of my poem about 1.5 weeks ago. updating needs to occur!

Our next feature is rolling in soon! Piecing Together, a solo show by Kiki Buccini, on display at Green Space Studios from October 12th to October 25th with our reception on Friday, October 16th, from 6-9pm.

ABOUT THE ARTIST (@cutpasteface)
“Kiki Buccini is a Jersey City–based collage artist who has been creating and sharing work for over a decade. Her art has appeared in a range of galleries and exhibitions, both locally and internationally, and she has also contributed collage work to several album covers and books. She is active in online and in-person collage communities, often collaborating and exchanging ideas with artists worldwide.

Working under the name Cutpasteface, Kiki explores surreal and humanist themes mainly through analog collage, and sometimes incorporates her own photography. Much of her process is intuitive and meditative, the story emerges as she sifts through materials and lets connections reveal themselves. Her work reflects curiosity about both the inner world and shared human experience.”

FROM THE CURATOR (@krisp.visuals)
“I knew of Kiki’s art long before I had the pleasure of meeting her in person. I’ve always been fascinated by the art of collage and its ability to take fragments from different places and moments and bring them together to create something entirely new. There’s something limitless about the medium. A single image can become a doorway into another world and I think Kiki has a beautiful ability to build those worlds. Each piece feels like its own story, while also offering you the freedom to imagine what that story might be.”
