Music obsessed just me and my cat

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

TLDR - I finished Ironman Arizona

I would regret not using all the wonderful photos that sherpa extraordinaire @didolsen1 took. Super thankful she came with me. I was overwhelmingly, massively, stupidly undertrained for this… but Im also stubborn so I went after having to defer last year 😂. Swim was frigid but always happy to get out of there even if I was shaking like a leaf from the air temps with an awful transition trying to get warm and suit up. Bike just got windier and windier but hey I get to do this sport and thats a plus! On the run I spent most of my time formulating what perverted jokes I would tell @cvrlizardboy when he was lapping me. Also, respect the chicken broth! It saves 🙌🏻. Slowest Full, but certainly some of the most fun and most friends Ive made on a course. 4th Iron and probably will be more in the future… but not for a while. #Ironman #IMAZ #tri #triathlon #photosaretooexpensive #notretiredyet

A Part Of Me: this is the song that cultivated my interest in music. It is the reason I have the music tastes I have today.

Was a going through any breakup? No. It was simply a song full of sentimental value that I recognized and realized I wanted more of.

Being on top of A Mountain and taking the time for myself to take apart songs with the solace of sunset, the bustling style of the night life, the passing of the planes overhead, or witnessing the sunrise, it was very apparent that music is an important medium in my life now.

It took the kindness of an individual that assisted in ensuring my interest in this genre of music. For that I am always grateful.

Neck Deep was my first show in college and now 8 years later during an anniversary tour I am listening to the same song at different times in my life. So much has changed yet so grateful at the same time.

To spend a night surrounded by people and show friends celebrating the most vital album ever in my life? I’d do it all again 🤘🏻

PSA to all vendors, especially photographers, it is NEVER rude to ask an officiant to step out of the way for the first kiss. And if said officiant/minister/celebrant gets pissed about it? They’re not very good at their job. I said what I said!

My face when I’m working with a new photographer and they ask me if I wouldn’t mind stepping out of the way for the first kiss.

As Officiant Jimmie, I am known for a couple of things:
-Seal It With A Shot
-Ceremonies that are beautiful & funny
-Stylish Attire.
.
But the thing that proceeds my reputation that I’m most proud of?
Being known as the officiant who knows to GTFO when the kiss is happening.
.
You think this would be a no brainer to do by now, but there is a shocking amount of my peers who do not do this.
.
So please know that if you book me as your officiant for your wedding/elopement. You will get that perfect kiss picture but, in addition, you’ll also get a bonus photo of me running out of the way.

It feels like every couple I marry are old friends of mine I’m finally seeing again! Although with 99% of them it’s our first time meeting EVER. But that’s what happens when I’m in constant communication with them. We develop a comfortable repertoire that we basically do become friends. I also have them fill out the couples questionnaire which lets me in on some of their favorite memories and inside jokes. By the time the ceremony is finished, it feels like two of my closest buddies finally did the damn thang!

All I want to do is enhance everyone’s special day with that little extra “something”. That “something” that we all know and love, but we can’t quite explain. It’s the missing spice in an already perfect dish, the hum of Kid Cudi’s voice on a song that was already a bop, and the couple that is perfect but they found some random dude on Instagram/Facebook who summed them up 👌🏾.

Sometimes it goes beyond words and it’s all just said with “that” look. Elope your life and let’s see what you two are capable of!
