Do you remember the good ole days?

This is one of those memories at takes us right back to where it all started….

Before the Gladiator, before the builds got bigger, and before the Southeast Overland Camping Event became what it is today… there was a 2012 Toyota Tacoma, two hobbies, and a love for adventure.

Fun fact: “TNT” originally stood for “Tennessee Taco.” 🤘

@theoverlandher loved off-roading. I loved camping and hiking. We realized pretty quickly that we could combine the two, and #overlanding was the answer.

That Tacoma took us on some incredible trips and helped create friendships, stories, and memories that we’ll carry forever. Eventually, the 2021 Gladiator joined the fleet and we said goodbye to the truck that started it all…but we’ll never forget those early days.

What started as two people wanting to get outside and explore turned into TNT Overlander, the Southeast Overland Camping Event, countless adventures, and an incredible community.

None of it would have happened without our family, friends, build partners, and all of the amazing people who have supported us along the way. ❤️

Here’s to remembering where you started… and getting excited about where the trail takes you next. 7 years ago…we never would have imagined we would be attending SEMA, KOH, Windrock Park Events, SFWDA Events, teaching classes, hosting the largest overlanding event in Tennessee, and Morgan competing in the #rebellerally

THANK YOU ALL for such a great JOURNEY….we couldn’t have done it without you, and cannot wait for you to see what we have planned next!

Matewan, West Virginia. The little town with a history bigger than the mountains that surround it.

Nestled deep in the heart of Appalachia, Matewan is where legends were born. It was the heart of the infamous Hatfield-McCoy Feud, this historic town also became the backdrop for one of the most pivotal moments in American labor history the Matewan Massacre. Now home to a new kind of feud. One that brings people together to help those in need, The Feud All Terrain Rally.

Coal mining, mountain pride, family heritage, and an unbreakable spirit are woven into every street and every story. It’s a place where the past is honored, the mountains call you to explore, and the people make you feel like family.

Whether you’re chasing history, riding the trails, or simply soaking in the beauty of southern West Virginia, you’ll quickly discover that Matewan isn’t just a destination, it’s an experience.

📍Matewan, West Virginia
The little town with big history… where feuds became legends, miners changed America, and the mountains still tell the story.

Hope everyone had a great Fourth of July! 🇺🇸

We spent ours exploring the Grand Mesa, fishing, enjoying time on the water, and making memories together with families united.

We’re grateful to bring families together, and especially thankful for the men and women who have served, and continue to serve to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day.

Here’s to another year of adventure and making memories. Hope everyone had a safe and memorable Independence Day.
