Me and this camera have been everywhere 📍
.
As I dig myself out of the Biggest Backlog in History™️, I was thinking about how I even got here. Like literally right here in this moment. And it’s all because decided to pick up a camera.
.
I started shooting in 2018 and have not looked back since. The only thing that I can count on in this world is that I’m gonna make stuff. I’m going to create no matter what. I’ve tried quitting so many times but it never works. There is an odd sense of dread and excitement being stuck to things that you love. I accept this position willingly.
.
When I started shooting, I set out to make things & tell stories that would take me everywhere. I wanted experience and I got a ton of it. The past 3-4 years have been nothing short of wild. Navigating lows that I genuinely did not think I’d make it out of to even be able to type this caption.
.
I’m grateful for every moment, though. The good, the bad, & the fucking ugly. Every project, conversation, flight, state, city, friendship, relationship, & every country meant something.
.
“What’s the meaning of all your experiences?” I’ve been searching for an answer to this for a long time. And for now, I think I’m done searching.
.
Create or die. I choose to make this binary. There’s no need for other options when you’re doing what you love to do… what you’re meant to do.
.
As always, I am glad you’re here. The future is bright ☀️

We are still thinking about the 2026 Strong Awards!

What a night celebrating the women and girls who make our community stronger, and the people who continue to show up for them. Together through sponsorships, day-of donations, ticket sales, and our raffle we raised: $171,000 to continue expanding programs into three more middle schools!

We also had the opportunity to celebrate the incredible award honorees @sharisenance, @divyaatase, Savannah Coleman, and @pa_womenwork. We also celebrated the Emerging Leader honoree, Alpha Delta Lambda Omega Graduate Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

The room was full of energy from start to finish, with our full Board of Directors, Emeritus Board, staff, community partners, university leaders, and supporters all coming together for one memorable evening.

We’re also very grateful to County Executive Sarah Innamorato (@innamo) for joining us, to everyone who helped make the evening possible: @may_chesterdesign, @partymosaic, @eflighting, @grayphoenixpgh, @veronicasballoondesign_llc, @djmannea , @djdigitaldave1, @chiina_bloodmire, @cwlcreatives, @the1978collection, and to Shayla Hawkins (@itsashething) for her incredible design and support.
