First Canadian review: “Ashgrove handles apocalyptic storytelling the right way. The premise may be epic in scope, but it’s grounded in its execution. LaLonde delivers a suspenseful chamber piece anchored in strong characters, staggering performances, and authentic modern-day anxieties.”

So excited to finally announce this. Last year me and a bunch of awesome collaborators snuck off to make a secret film together. It’s my first pure drama and it’s called ASHGROVE and I got to make it with some of my favorites people. It will have its #WorldPremiere at @glasgowfilmfest https://glasgowfilm.org/shows/ashgrove-nc-15 @amandabrugel @shawnydoyle @thisisnataliebrown @christinejhorne @sugithvarughese @robscarboroughcsc @ianlefeuvre1 @skgiese @peterharveyfilm

VERY gratefully to have met Chris Elgar. A year ago when I rented my hanger, Chris was my neighbour. He owns a Piper Comanche which he flew around the world with his partner Dave McElroy in 2014 in support of @sickkidstoronto. Together they raised over $400,000 for the cause. Chris is a friend and mentor of mine and a great asset to the @Flightforhope team.

Chris speaks about his World Flight w/ @Buckproductions which I’m excited to share in a later video!

I’l be going LIVE with @Buckproductions Wednesday @ 7pm (TOMORROW) to talk about the @Flightforhope expedition.
