THANKYOU to all the participants in this year’s Los Angeles Design Week/end @ladesignweekend Open Call show at CAI @collectiveartsincubator. It was a tremendous effort to install and de-install all in one day, especially in 100+ degree heat. Everyone was so kind, generous, and patient; and their work was a sensation! 🙏🙏🙏 AA | FF STUDIO @aa_ff_studio Alisa Manokian @alisa_manokian Aloia @aloiastudio Andrea Vence and Viktoria Gokun @recreation_hq Angela Slick angelajslick@gmail.com Ava Frisina @avalf Carol Horst Ceramics @carolhorstceramics Chantr Living @chantrliving Charlotte Östergren-Young - Ostergren-Young.studio @cy.ramics Christie Torgerson @christie.torgerson.ceramics Clab Studio clab Dandi Gu @dandi_gu Despina Stokou @destinisto Diana Lin Ajemian - @dianalinajemian Dror Yisrael Hemed    Emily Haynes @bluepenceramics Eric Herman Jack Raymond @jmraymond27 Jesse Chappelle @24hoursgentlerainsound Jo Jimenez @jo.jim3nez Julia SH @juliashoots JÜLİDE @julide.co Keli Ma @i.am.keli.ma Layne Harris @layneharrisart Lewis Kane @lewiskane Lili Todd @lilitoddart Liz Oliver Studio @lizoliverstudio M. I’m Clara’s daughter and I started this feed to celebrate my mom’s style! All my life people have commented on her cool clothes and many have told me I should make a feed for her, so here we are! She’s 76 years old and pays no mind to “rules” of fashion—she’s always just followed her joy and instinct. I’d say the majority of her wardrobe is thrifted, since it allows her a more personal and unique experience with her wardrobe. Years ago my mom and I had our own clothing label together and l think it’s something that runs in her blood, as she comes from a family of artists and designers. She used to make my baby clothes, and even in high school, when I was in my goth era, she would happily fulfill my crazy requests for weird pieces. I would say of the two of us, her style is more adventurous and funky, with her innate elegance and sophistication always shining through. I recently persuaded her to take up ceramics and I have decided there’s no creative avenue that she can’t pursue. I love you, mom! @estesclaraluz
