Seeing this photo fills my heart with so many emotions. ❤️ Once upon a time … they were just two little siblings growing up together, creating memories that seemed endless. Life eventually took them in different directions… each chasing their dreams and carrying their own responsibilities.

Today my niece visited her brother at the hotel where he proudly works as a chef. For a moment … it felt like time stood still. The distance, the busy schedules and the years apart disappeared … leaving only the beautiful bond of a brother and sister.

So proud of the amazing young adults they have become. Watching them grow is one of the greatest joys of my life. ❤️👨‍🍳👩

Learnings:
• We’re either being led by faith or fear
• Being able to create art is God’s character in us (the first thing He did in the Bible was create)
• Walking into big things requires foundational trust that is built in the mundane, in the daily, in the waiting
• It’s easy to say yes to God when He leads us in ‘expected’ ways. There will come a time when His plans and ways seem higher and unconventional. Learning to take a step anyways - scared and uncertain, hopeful and confident, all at once.
