It was a pleasure to join the Friends of Greenbank group to discuss everything from litter to cricket, cycling to toilet facilities. Lots of great ideas and action planning for the future

This Sunday marked the final session of Wheelin’ for Wellbeing — a brilliant project by Cycle with Sumayra helping parents and carers of SEND families get cycling. With the grand finale family ride.
Proud to have supported this alongside Brompton — six bikes on loan, for everyone. Kids, adults, families. #KenFostersCycles #Brompton

A message from @cycle_with_sumayra, our fellow parent-carer who organised these Wheelin' for Wellbeing sessions:

"Last Wheeling 4 Wellbeing session this morning!! 10am at Cringle park. We’re celebrating with a family ride. Adult bikes and helmets available to borrow for free, children will need to bring their own bikes. Complimentary drinks for all. What a full day, all week in fact, getting the new bikes, fitting them in a car, getting wet, but still teaching the people to ride bikes!!! Big thank you to @kenfosterscycles for the bikes, @cycle_with_sumayra, for making all this happen
And special shout out to the random and unexpected appearance of @greenpartyzack and @hannahtheplumbermcr, we love you two.

Here's a message from the organiser:

"Hello lovely parents and carers.

I’m facilitating these sessions specifically for our community of strong, determined, motivated, loving….burnt out, stressed, sometimes isolated parents and carers of children with additional needs.

Lord knows, at the very least we just need a free tea or coffee and space to feel connected with one another!"
