This year, we’ve had the extraordinary privilege of sharing Duncan Sheik’s music with the world through Alice by Heart and Spring Awakening. We embraced his music at MTCA through our medley, and spent countless hours immersed in the beauty, honesty, and humanity of his work.

His music has left a lasting imprint on all of us—on our students, our artists, and our hearts. We feel incredibly lucky to have lived inside these stories, to have shared his music with our community, and to carry it with us.

Thank you for the Music! We will continue to Share it, Embrace it, and Embody it!

love letter to spring awakening💜

I’m so grateful that I got to do a dream show of mine with so many of my favorite people. This cast and team is absolutely amazing and I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to connect and perform with. Thank you to the people I’ve known for years for still being there, and for the ones that I just met for their amazing kindness. I love you all so much💜

I couldn’t be more proud of this show. We took a big swing producing this show. And I am so thrilled we did. It’s beautiful. Powerful. And the cast is to die for. This was a dream show for our director @ryleft AND our music director/conductor/pianist @janropermusic and I couldn’t say no to putting it on especially with the talent we have circulating through BTPS.

You have 2 chances with LIMITED seats available to catch this show. Tonight @7pm and tomorrow @2pm.

Run. Don’t walk. I love and adore this cast, this show, this production.

From first rehearsals in the studio… to moving into the theatre… to opening weekend onstage—this journey has been a full-on roller coaster.

Watching these performers, our production team, and this incredible live band bring Spring Awakening to life has been nothing short of awe-inspiring. What they’ve created in just three weeks is bold, vulnerable, electric and truly unforgettable.

We’re so grateful to do this here: to train in our own studio, create in our own theatre, and give artists the space to take risks, push boundaries, and make something extraordinary.

And just like that… there’s only ONE WEEKEND LEFT.

This show will be gone even quicker than it came together! Don’t miss it!! Head to our website and grab your tickets now.

Come experience what these artists have created. 💜
