The Youth2030 Phase 2 (2025–2030) presents a comprehensive Strategic Priorities and Results Framework, charting a bold path forward to intensify impact and drive transformative change with and for young people worldwide. Launched in 2018 by the UN Secretary-General, Youth2030 — the UN Youth Strategy — is the umbrella framework guiding the @unitednations system’s work with and for youth. Now, over six years into its implementation, acceleration is needed at all levels to meet the strategy’s goals. The report focuses on accelerating the implementation of Youth2030 at the global, regional, and national levels. #LocalizingtheSDGs,#12August, #InternationalYouthDay, #Youthday, #LocalYouthaction, #Youth2030, #YoungMPs, #Youthpartners, #Youthled

At L.I.F.E, we’ve engaged in various impactful activities over the years like, mangrove planting, tree planting, ocean cleanups, and art sessions, all dedicated to environmental conservation.

On this Earth Day, we came together for a powerful day of learning and discussion! We had a peer to peer training focused on environmental protection and ocean conservation.

From understanding marine life to discovering how small actions can create big change, we embraced our role as Little Impactors for Environment. Together, we rise for a cleaner, greener future one wave at a time.

We were also honored to be joined by Dr. LeeAnn from Boston via Zoom, where she read us her new book, “Bow the Handsome Boll Weevil.”

In 1970, 20 million people took to the streets for the first-ever Earth Day — a movement born out of growing concern for our planet. Today, over 1 billion people in 190+ countries participate, but our Earth is still in crisis: we lose 10 million hectares of forest every year and emit over 36 billion tons of CO₂. This Earth Day, let’s go beyond awareness — let’s act. Plant a tree, reduce waste, speak up. Because the future is not something we inherit, it’s something we build. #EarthDay2025 #RestoreOurEarth #ActNow #vijana4food #20304foodsystems

EARTH DAY 2025: This year’s theme- OUR POWER, OUR PLANET
At Young Warriors Club we understand power of youth voices in environmental advocacy lies not only in their passion and visibility but in their ability to inspire systemic change. When youth are empowered, listened to, and given platforms to lead, the environmental movement becomes more inclusive, just, and forward-looking.
With initiatives focused on advocacy, education and local engagement. Our campaigns aims to empower youth to tackle action , pushing for policies that promote biodiversity restoration and environmental stewardship.
Youth are educating peers, communities and even leaders on sustainability, climate science, and environmental justice. Through club campaigns, and classroom projects, we are soaring seeds of awareness and action.

United Nations Headquarters, New York, United States of America & Parliament House Islamabad, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 15th - 17th April 2025.

Muhammad Shehzad Khan, President of The Youth Council Pakistan, made a powerful intervention on the theme "Youth in Governance: Driving Climate and Gender Action through Digital Inclusion and Partnerships" during a high-level side event at the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Youth Forum 2025.

Speaking to the UN ECOSOC Youth Forum 2025, Shehzad Khan emphasized the pivotal role of young people in shaping inclusive, climate-resilient futures. He highlighted Pakistan’s youth as a dynamic force for positive change, especially in addressing the interlinked challenges of climate change, gender inequality, and digital exclusion.

"The voices of youth, particularly from the Global South, must not just be heard—they must be integrated into global decision-making structures," Shehzad Khan asserted. "Through digital innovation, cross-sector partnerships, and youth-led governance models, we can achieve tangible progress on climate justice and gender equity in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)."

He also spotlighted Youth Council Pakistan’s ongoing initiatives that empower young changemakers, promote digital literacy, and foster inclusive platforms for marginalized communities. He called for strengthened international partnerships to scale these efforts and ensure equitable access to technology, leadership spaces, and climate resources for all.

Shehzad Khan’s intervention resonated strongly with participants and reinforced the message that youth are not just stakeholders—but key actors in governance and sustainable development.

The session concluded with a call to action for governments, multilateral bodies, and civil society to invest in youth capacity, close the digital divide, and adopt youth-inclusive policies to accelerate progress on climate and gender goals globally.
