last week i joined my day 1 berlin fam @femmebassmafia to MC this 2 hour @rinsefrance set with my loves @d.dangermami, @mamalior and @__p__o__n__y__o__💕💕 bass/dubstep music has its own MC tradition, rooted in ragga-dancehall. i brought in my ballroom MCing, which comes from queer and trans Black and Latinx folks, and it was such a fun experiment to see how the two could meet. it was also my first time ever Mcing on that genre shoutout to @peach_0o7 and @magiathemessiah for our MC studio sessions✨ annndd for club collectives and partiess… get a doll a booking before annabelle gets cooking💋👠 MC Kilonda xx

STILL PROCESSING THIS ONE ☺️ Thank you @ableton for the opportunity to host my first production workshop, and @openground.club for trusting me with this incredible space and sound system. The workshop filled up completely, and the extended club night was sold out too. We’re sorry to everyone who wanted to join but could not get a workshop slot or ticket in time. Join the Barulho World newsletter and keep an eye on www.barulho.world. We share upcoming events, workshops and registration links there so you can hear about them before the slots and tickets are gone. Thank you to everyone who joined the workshop, from complete beginners to experienced producers. I hope you all took home at least one new idea, technique or perspective. Thank you @dj_firmeza and @djnigga.fox for the incredible b2b, @fraubeji for the insane set, and @principediscos_verdadeiro for 15 years of pushing this sound. Most of all, thank you to everyone who travelled from across Germany and beyond to learn, connect and dance with us. What a night. What a community. 🌐💛

Some of the tunes in my sets over summer 🏝️ Every artist is tagged so u can go dive on them Received some of these via @exibeat_music which is a music sharing platform that I’ve been trying out (instead of emails/dms); met the co-founder @ostblock_xb at a festival a few years ago, he’s an absolute sweetheart who’s building it from the stance of *genuinely* caring about the music scene and how it functions and yessss I am still behind on replying there like everywhere else (sorry!) but it seems decent + well-intentioned so wanted to shout them out More tunes ah run the next couple weeks: 🇯🇵 @ffkt_fest 🇺🇸 @submersionfestival ~ @directdrive.la ~ @parameter_sf @squishsf @ilian_tape ~ @nowadaysnyc x @animalialabel ~ @process.pdx (final night of my residency, doing a live set ✨) ^^^ Tickets avail thru all these pages, ty everyone for having me over xx
