HYROX PERFORMANCE EXPERIENCE: PART 2 🏃🏾‍♂️🔥

We came to compete, connect & recover! 🔋

From pushing ourselves through the workout to slowing things down with mobility, mental wellness, recovery, and community — Part 2 was everything we wanted it to be.

At YMM, we believe performance is bigger than what you can do physically. It’s about taking care of the mind, body & everything in between 🦾🧠

A special thank you to @gymtanlaw for a challenging & fun class! The best in the business 🫡🔥

Huge thank you to our partners who helped bring the experience to life and to every person who showed up, competed, and brought the energy!

There is no one I admire on this earth more than my son. He is self made…..a chip off the old block. This picture under the Chicago River Bridge says it all. 😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤
All I ever did was “give him the gas to fill his tank”………he mashed the pedal to the floor and still does to this day. @d.j.b10 #LikeFatherLikeSon #ThemBrowns #chicago

WNBA All-Star Weekend Recap 🏀✨

We had the opportunity to tag along with our friends at @sintituloshop for an unforgettable weekend celebrating women’s sports here in Chicago.

As a community built on the foundation of sports, athletes, and creating connection beyond the locker room, it was inspiring to be surrounded by so many people pushing the culture forward!

Hearing the powerful stories shared by @togethxr and experiencing the energy at the @complexsports pop-up was a reminder of just how impactful community can be.

Chicago showed up, as always. Grateful to be part of a weekend that celebrated the game, elevated women’s sports, and brought people together.

Here’s to continuing to build spaces where sport, community, and mental wellness meet 💚🧠

We had the opportunity to partner with @qualtrics this month to create a Wellness Day centered around helping employees slow down, reconnect, and refocus.

In environments where expectations are high and the pace never seems to slow, creating intentional moments for recovery isn’t a luxury—it’s part of performing at your best.

At Your Mentall Matters, we’re on a mission to change the conversation around what it means to be a high performer. The grind doesn’t stop, and neither do the demands—but sustainable performance comes from knowing when to create intentional pockets to slow down, recover, and reset so you can continue showing up at your best.

It doesn’t get easier. We get stronger. 💚🦾

Huge thank you to our team for bringing this experience to life:
Organizers: @d.j.b10 @evstwood & @yumihanashiro
Lead Instructor: @ccuratedbychloe

If your company is looking to create a Wellness Day, host a mental wellness workshop, or start meaningful conversations around mental wellness and performance, send us a DM—we’d love to connect.

Stay tuned for our August activations. More movement, more conversations, and more community are on the way.

Yesterday was special.

Got to be part of the first HYROX activation with Your Mentall Matters—a group dedicated to helping athletes, business professionals, and high performers prioritize holistic wellness—mind, body, and spirit.

Because it’s never just physical.

It’s how you can be honest about where you’re at mentally—and still keep showing up for yourself.

It’s what you tell yourself when things get uncomfortable.

It’s how you recover—mentally and physically—so you can keep performing at a high level.

Performance isn’t just built in the gym.
It’s built through mindset, recovery, and the habits you carry outside of training.

Grateful to be part of a community that’s pushing all of it. 🧠💪
