POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The fight doesn’t always end when treatment does.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is about more than pink outs and ribbons. It’s about fighting the good fight long after everyone thinks the fight is over.

These pictures show two chapters of my story. One is fighting to survive. The other is rebuilding strength in a body that has been through so much.

Finishing treatment doesn’t erase what happened. There are scars you can see and others you can’t. There’s learning to trust your body again, finding your strength, and carrying gratitude alongside the hard things.

Today, my fight looks different. It looks like showing up, getting stronger, and giving myself grace on the days that feel harder than they should.

The same God who carried me through that chemo chair is carrying me through this chapter, too.

This October, wear the pink. But also check on the woman still in treatment and the one whose treatment ended years ago. Leave room for her to be grateful to be alive and still need support.

To the women still fighting, healing, or finding their footing: I see you. Our stories continue long after the ribbons come down.
If you’re in the middle of treatment and wondering what life on the other side can look like, I hope my story brings you a little hope today. 💗 I believe in you!

100 workouts @d1athens! I worked out from home for years, but after surgery, I told myself I needed a change of pace. It was the best decision I could have made for myself. I’m grateful for the coaches who encourage me, the community I’ve found, and the hour every morning that’s just for me.
