SWEATPANTS OR DENIM? WE WENT WITH BOTH🤙🏾
We took this from the cutting table straight to the runway, fusing white fleece sweats and blue jeans to build the ULTIMATE WIDE LEG TRIPLE STACK💪🏾💪🏾
To finish the vision, we paired it with a 1 OF 1
custom distressed STREET FIGHTER HOODIE😎

Talk to me in the comments:🗣
are you rocking with this heavy layered silhouette? Or...keeping your denim BASIC?👀
If these were in your rotation, would you stick with the graphic hoodie or switch up the vibe?⁉️

This is my life 🥹 And when I look back at these clips, I realize just how long this life has been building.

In 2019, before @audacityartalliance ever had a name, there was Chrystal’s TuTu Paradise (@crystallitewerk ).

The vision was simple: create a stage where artists from different mediums could show up as themselves and share original work. Music. Poetry. Fashion. Makeup. Visual art. Whatever your art looked like, there was room for it.

Back then, I leaned heavily on the small creative community I had built with my friends. We pulled shows together with what we had, I put my own money into making them happen, and the sleepless nights somehow still felt worth it because I believed in what we were creating.

Then, in October 2023, Audacity was born.

New name. Bigger vision. Same heart.

But if I’m being truthful, I brought an old mindset into a new business.

I was still building Audacity the way I built the Chrystal TuTu Paradise showcases: figure out the event, make the money stretch, get the artists on stage, make the experience happen, and worry about everything else afterward.

That worked for a showcase.

It was never going to be enough for the business I was trying to build.

And that has probably been one of the biggest lessons of this season: passion can start the work, but passion alone cannot sustain it.

So now, I’m correcting that.

I’m building the structure underneath the vision.

I’m learning how my 501(c)(3) and LLC can function intentionally instead of simply existing beside one another. I’m creating systems, rebuilding leadership, thinking beyond the next event, and asking what Audacity needs in order to still be serving creatives years from now.

Because the goal was never just to give Black creatives another gig.

The goal is to help build an ecosystem where Black creatives can move beyond gig-to-gig survival and toward ownership, sustainability, legacy, and wealth through their art.

The stage was always part of the vision.

Now I’m building everything underneath it.

2019 showed me the idea could work.
2023 gave it a name.
This season is about giving it a foundation.

And yeah… this is my life. 🖤
