It’s National Coaches Week!

Celebrating our incredible coaches: @ryan.cycling101 @dontfeedthe_gator @sshiers_ @dyexley @da__lambo

Thank you for helping our athletes grow stronger, more confident and more passionate on and off the bike. Your encouragement, expertise and energy make all the difference.

Our athletes said it best:

“Ryan always makes training so much fun. I always look forward to training!” - Eva

“Ryan has done wonders for my riding and confidence this year.” - Sophie

“Ryan believes in us even when we don’t believe in ourselves. He never gets annoyed and always answers our never-ending questions.” - Nyah and Ella

“Ryan has taught me so much since joining this team. He is always so supportive and encouraging.” - Roslyn

“Alissa is such an amazing coach! After being able to work with her for almost a year, I have gained so much more confidence on the bike, both physically and mentally. I really value her optimism and belief that you can achieve your biggest goals if you work hard, which is such an important aspect in a coach. She is such a genuine, encouraging and thoughtful person. Alissa is the best!” - Liv

“Alissa really helped me out this year. She inspired me to go out on the track, and I found out I really enjoyed it. Alissa helped me find a passion for biking I didn’t know I had.” - Sarah

“I dream of having the positive energy Alissa always has.” - Ella

“Steve and Alissa have helped me become a better athlete and person.” - Emily

“Steve encourages us to be better in a way that really picks us up.” - Charlie

“Without David and Jamie, I wouldn’t be the rider I am today.” - Molly

“David does not say a lot when we’re riding, but when he does, it is vitally useful.” - Charlie

Great coaches create more than faster athletes. They create confident, resilient young people who believe in themselves, support one another and understand that growth happens both on and off the bike.

We’re so lucky to have you!

Thanks to all the additional coaches you worked with our athletes this year!

What the heck is the Flow Crew? You’ll see these girls across Western Canada. We support them on their bikes, but we also teach them what it means to be part of something bigger.

They play in parks together, work volunteer shifts with a parental unit, cheer wildly for their teammates and learn how to show up for their community. We believe we can only be our best if the future is coming right along with us.

Flow riders get their own biking diary, complete with a badge system to help them conquer their first climb, try something new and master the extremely important skill of getting back up. They also get a pretty cool shirt.

This year, every girl who completed her book even took home a @needohofficial. No, we cannot disclose where we found 32 NeeDohs. Please respect our sources. And yes @sarahkpittard is banned from a series of West Coast book stores.

In 2027, Flow is also expanding to include the not-so-secret Lil Bros Club, our trial program for boys. More on that soon!

Boy, girl or feeling somewhere in between right now, you’re welcome here. Head to peakpursuits.com and click “Join the Ride.” There is no starting or finishing age because anyone deserves the chance to discover a love of bikes at any age.

A huge thank you to @smartwoolbanff, @smartwool_canada and @smartwoolwhistler and @dharcoclothing for giving this crew a lot of extra love this year, for understanding that being properly dressed for the weather and the adventure is, frankly, 90% of the battle.

Flow will keep flowing. Will you?

And thank you to all our sponsors helping to keep girls, and one highly classified test group of little brothers, in sport: @reboundcycle @cravecupcakes @gocarmella @snowyowlsleddogtours @orbea @jakroo_official @ridefox @materiaalpost #ridefox @onealta.cc @bici_yyc @oktire @wildrosewomensevents @smartwoolbanff @olddutchcanada @wattriot @irisvisualgroup @jessicastoner_realestate @materiaalpost @coastoptics @gourlayscanmore @hotelzed @ryan.cycling101 @mammothmounts @trecdental @4iiii @orbea @olwayperformance @higuchiphotos and Mac Fans and Furnaces!

EPIC amounts of girls on bikes this weekend and honestly… we are going to need more lavender.

While some people were enjoying a quiet weekend, this crew was busy absolutely taking over.

Out in BC, 16-year-old @hazel_likes_bikes is out there CRUSHING the legendary @bcbikerace , currently sitting 9th in a stacked field of epically fast Open Women and proving once again that grit, guts, and an @orbea Oiz are a pretty dangerous combo.

Meanwhile our @futurechampionscamp_ crew crushed the racing, learned a ton, and spent the week getting to know road riders from across Canada. From crit corners to climbs and team laughs in between, this weekend was about way more than results. It was about growth, friendships, and girls finding their place #in the sport. Thanks to @leahkirchmann @nigelellsay @futurechampionscamp_ and Ron and Richard for leading the charge.

Back home, our MTB crew did what they do best, absolutely killing it at @mmbtsraces @mmbtsinfo Kids Fest and hitting the trails with coaches and friends. From flow crew to elites, this team keeps proving that bikes are better together. To all the girls we met - can't wait to ride with you some more!

Huge thanks to the sponsors who understand that these experiences matter and help keep girls rolling across every discipline. 💜

Steep. Deep. All gas, no brakes. 🏆

Still trying to comprehend what just went down. Legs, mind, and bike all lined up, and I couldn’t be happier to walk away with the Pro win.

One of the raddest days I’ve had on a bike: a big 20 minute effort to start the day, then some steep n’ deep singletrack for stages 2-4. A hot lap down lower TNT was an excellent way to finish the day off.

Insane thank you to @steepndeepxc and all the volunteers for making this such a great time, and to all the people out there cheering and spreading the stoke.

My fresh @norcobicycles Revolver 120 turned out to be the perfect bike for the occasion, just as I expected.
@pearlizumiofficial for keeping me looking fresh as usual, and @straightlinebicycles for the unwavering support, and helping me get my hands on this sweet new rig.

Of course, the most important thank you goes to the real sponsors. Thanks Mom and Dad for being the biggest supporters ❤️

@danielmorrison641 with some killer action shots as always 📸

I never thought I’d race mountain bikes again… ❤️.

Today I confirmed, I’m racing the @transrockies Golden 24 - 8 hr solo open men mountain bike race. Last time I raced this was back in 2019, it was a GREAT race with my friend @jme_lamb taking the win.

Next Saturday is going to be incredibly emotional for me… I can’t wait to toe the start line 🤘. It’s time to ride fast again but super smart.

Riding bikes smart is a thing.

And I’m stoked to have the best racing/aid crew, @abbykokolski and Jasper out there supporting me.

The second pic is Jasper doing the kids race that same day in 2019 ❤️.
