First competition is in the books! I couldn’t have done it without my amazing coach @da_trainer_ . Thank you for convincing me that I had what it takes to step on that platform. You’re officially stuck with me because I can’t wait to do another one.

A huge thank you to @cocoa_soul and baby bestie for also being with me and taking me from terrified to beyond excited to be there as soon as you walked in.

I placed 1st in my weight class of 67.5 and 1st in my weight class of the sub masters category. I also set 3 state records.

Squat: 242lbs - state record (sub masters)
Bench: 170lbs - state record (sub masters)
Deadlift: 314lbs - state record (sub masters)

Very successful day on the platform for both myself and the entire team! ...
-
First official meet in 14 months went exactly as planned. .. I went 8/9 on all attempts setting PR’s in Squats & Bench. ... Finishing with a 1500 Total (was the goal) in the 181 lb weight class. Also earning my RPS Pro status in the process. Took 1st place in Pro Open & Submaster divisions. Lifts were as followed: -

Squats: 3/3 (450, 475, 500) joining the 500 Squat Club. -
Bench: 3/3 (400, 420, 435) -
Deads: 2/3 (525, 565, 585-miss) -
