Thinking back on my experience using a large format camera for the first time in July at @retlenz’s workshop with @dabxposure. Image 1 and 2 are my results! While I don’t have my own large format camera, what I learned here made approaching my new medium format baby girl Yashica-A waaaay easier. Film photography is so magical. If you even have a modicum of curiosity in this intimidating yet highly welcoming medium, I cannot recommend enough to sign up for their upcoming workshop (only three spots left!). Lenny is a fantastic teacher and you will walk away feeling empowered to take on literally anything.

Back by popular demand. @DaBXposure & @BronxArtsOrg return for another hands-on workshop with Lenny Medina (@retlenz), who walks participants through how to operate a large format camera.
