Leo #A2114901 has waited in this same spot for 386 days 💔💔💔 He is about 7 years old and listed as a Labrador Retriever/Boxer mix. Leo is almost always carrying a toy around for emotional support, and he LOVES to play. He’s good on the leash, knows his basic commands like sit and paw, and is an overall gentleman. He’s participated in dog playgroups and has a gentle to playful play style. We don’t know Leo’s life before the shelter, but we do know that his time here has been incredibly difficult. He’s suffered through terrible allergies, hives, eye issues, upper respiratory infections, and even bloody diarrhea. This poor boy just hasn’t had it easy. 💔

SUNNA was euthanized on 10/20 I’m so sorry, fly high sweet angel 💔😭Sunna #a2666835 is another beautiful angel that’s past her deadline of 10/15. She has been failed way too many times. She came in to shelter Feb 2025, adopted Aug 2025, surrendered for being “hyper” kid scared, adopted again December 2025 only to be found wandering streets of Miami as a stray in July of this year. Did we forget about empathy and did we forget about what it means to welcome a dog into your home? 😣💔 now Sunna is being failed again as she is past deadline and has to spend most of her time in the back of the shelter. All because she got into an altercation with another dog while at the Medley overflow location.

@best_pawddies introduced me to this beautiful girl for the first time yesterday. She got her this beautiful angel set and I couldn’t resist 🤣❤️Sunna is so sooo sweet and she has the most beautiful smile. She’s also potty trained and walks good on the leash!

Tank #A2784031 is still searching for his forever home! He has been stealing hearts while in foster care with a great human @nic_hun and we learned so many great things about this baby boy:

💛 gentle, friendly and super cuddly
💛 great with humans and with kids!
💛 walks great on leash
💛 housebroken & potty trained
💛 he ignored cats and ducks when walking past them, but that doesn’t confirm he’s cat friendly! Always introduce animals slowly and safely, and follow the 3-3-3 rule to give them time to adjust.
💛 arrived at shelter on April 30th, 2026 after being found abandoned near a demolished home.
💛5 years old, 110lbs, neutered male

💔 Pit bulls are one of the most misunderstood breeds. And Kovu deserves a chance to prove that love is so much stronger than a label. ❤️🐶

I took tom with me on foster on friday, and I'm going to post him everyday for the next week! until he gets adopted🤞🏻

today's the 6th day of foster care, so this is his 6th post! tom is an incredibly sweet boy and extremely gentle and affectionate 🤗. he is the perfect family dog ever and is just an overall wonderful dog.

🚨 but we need URGENT help! 🚨 toms foster care ends THIS Saturday (10/17) he will return back to a kennel😭 please!! help us share tom, he cannot return! they spend 23.5 hours in confinement he will be housed at the off site facility which is CLOSED to the public and has no a/c.

tom is an amazing dog and shouldn't live this way.. he didn't choose this life, he wants a loving family and a home where he can spend his days safe and happy.

PUPDATE: ADOPTED 10/19 ❤️🎉 Rolly #A2738972 UPDATE ❤️ After 5 days of desperately trying to find someone to step up for Rolly, I’m so thankful he’s safe and back on the adoption floor Room F Kennel 1 in the front. My best friend and I had the privilege of taking him out for a pawventure, and I hope this video shows you the side of Rolly that deserves to be seen. 🥹❤️ Rolly is a playful, energetic Boxer mix who has spent almost an ENTIRE YEAR in the shelter. A year of kennel stress, confinement, and waiting for someone to give him a chance. He needs the right person to guide him, give him an outlet for his energy, and help him decompress outside of the shelter environment. Rolly is safe for now, but he still needs OUT. A day away was a glimpse of what life could look like for him.

We’re back with a Mamita #A2805839 PSA 🥹💗✨— she’s out on foster & loving every second of learning to be a dog again. From happy tail wags, to peaceful naps, & walks with her foster siblings, Mamita is thriving & growing & healing.

Her foster mom is helping heal her skin, is getting her some basic training, & is letting her decompress. All while loving her, being patient with her, & showing the world why fostering matters so much. Why fostering SAVES lives.

I’m so thankful to her for taking a chance on the scared mama dog who couldn’t even jump into the car out of fear. Who knows where Mamita would be if it weren’t for this opportunity to spend time in a loving home.
