We‘re both Swiss Vice-Champions! 🥈🥈🇨🇭🤩❤️ With 10h42 Vätu made it even on the podium in the international ranking, while I placed 4th after 9h18 - I never was so happy with a 4th place! 🙌😁🎉
After 1h01 I left the water. A great start into the day. I also had super legs on the bike and hung on a strong group later. Actually they were too strong, I lost them and was tired after one loop already. Luckily I found teammate @stritic Mentally that helped a lot. But I had to fight hard to follow his wheel and prevent time loss. 5h for the bike then was still a very fast time for me. Starting into the marathon I quickly realized that this effort cost too much energy. So I found myself in survival mode. Thankfully I could run a pretty stable marathon. Stable on the paper. I was crying and praying through the suffering. Towards the end, my sisters pushed me one more time, as the rankings where close. With a strong finish I stayed 19s before place 5. What a day! With the relief after the finish the emotions were huge. 😭❤️🙏 Thank you!
