As we step into October, it is only right that we kick off the month by showing our sincerest gratitude to the incredible leaders who have shepherded our church. We’ve just celebrated our 19th Church Anniversary as “The Bridge,” and these three individuals, Lead Pastor Jumaine Jones, Pastor Jeff Jenkins, and Pastor Dafnette Jones have been a truly vital part of that success.  They embody our mission statement in every way, living out what it means to love God, love others, find purpose, and make a difference. Their unwavering dedication to leading, teaching, and caring for us is a blessing beyond measure. Let’s surround them with love all month long! Here are a few ways we can show our appreciation: Cover them in prayer: Commit to praying over our pastors and their families every single day this month.  Write a note of thanks: Drop a handwritten card, encouraging text, or email letting them know how much they mean to you.  Sow into their joy: Bless them with a favorite treat, coffee, or a small token of gratitude after service. Let’s honor them this month and always!  #PastorAppreciationMonth #thebridgedc #19YearsStrong #Grateful #HelloOctober

Join us @thebridgedc for our brand-new series, Squeezed, to discover how to shift from being a fearful holder to a faithful steward. 📍 @thebridgedc 🗓️ Sundays starting September 20th @ 10:30am

The Ripple 🌊 “God can bless us in the midst of murky waters. He restores, He replenishes, He cleanses... His power isn’t dependent upon our circumstances.” 💧 Closing out our Summer Tides H2O series, we were so happy to catch up with Pastors Jumaine and Dafnette Jones. Here is a quick takeaway from Pastor Jumaine’s message, “Murky Waters”. Even when situations are uncomfortable or challenging, God’s presence is with us and He meets us right where we are! #TheRipple #SummerTidesH2O #MurkyWaters #dmvchurch #TheBridgeDC
