Last week, we gathered to talk about loss, grief, + recovery. In response to a Summer season that asked much of our community, there was real joy in sitting together, listening, laughing, + being reminded that none of us are carrying anything alone.

From our lens, good health + healing looks a lot like community togetherness. 🤍

Thank you to our 5 panelists for taking the stage, sharing your research, your personal stories, your honest truths, + your advice. You gave this room something to carry home.

To Adrienne Skinner, thank you for moderating the night, grounding the room in research, + guiding the conversation with the exact care it deserved. + to Krystal (Withakay), thank you for opening the evening so beautifully, with your words of wisdom + the gift of your song.

To our sponsors, thank you for helping us keep these nights a true open space, free for everyone who walks through the door.

To date, this series has raised just under a quarter-million dollars, the equivalent of more than 3,500 counselling sessions, going directly toward pay-what-you-can counselling for young adults aged 18–29 right here in our backyard.

So if that’s you, + you need a place to feel safe, seen, + heard, a space to tell your story, please reach out to Third Space Charity.

Another big birthday weekend dinner @kinjo_sushi (so good!) and we got to see Olive’s room at the Stollery as well as the Ehman’s place at Ronald McDonald House. Uncle Darren vs. Eddie and Madi and I’m not sure who won 🤗 Found a view spot of downtown Edmonton. 🩵
