POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Throughout the Biennial, we’re turning murmur’s custom-built surround system into a space for intensity, intimacy, and new modes of listening. Titled Heart Rests Twice, the curated concert series unfolds across five Thursday nights in February and March, tuning into the pulse of the heartbeat. Here, the sound system becomes a living organism: time moves as memory, AI infrastructures are cracked open, and sound carries a narrative, transforming and retelling stories.

Heart Rests Twice brings together some of the most distinct voices from the contemporary experimental music and art scene: Nancy Mounir, Virus2020, Dali de Saint Paul, Kween, Hannah Hajar, Nour Sokhon, Imvisage, JacqNoise, ORGANIZACIÓN SECRETARIAT, Flavia Dzodan, and more.

Proudly presenting En Masse Community & Arts 2025.

Running alongside the music programme, this free-access events series is a chance to get even more out of En Masse — new acquaintances, skills, ideas. Local practitioners are joining forces with those from further afield in specially commissioned artworks, workshops, listening sessions and more.

With the introduction of our Saturday Community Hub, and our effort to concentrate events in closer proximity to one another, this year’s edition holds greater potential for connection than before, at a time when the world needs it most.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of your identity, knowledge or skill level. Find information and where to RSVP for each event on our website, and stay tuned to our social channels for breakdowns of each day.

~~~ A long overdue Bokeh Versions and Accidental Meetings joint ~~~
“Join us for this birthday funeral hybrid memorial acknowledging A DECADE of unorthodox practices and life-giving sounds in the dub / not-dub / not-dancehall / psychodubilly / dambient / gothdread / shoejazz / loverschlock, industrosmische / evangelical illbient continuum.
An unprecedented gathering of celestial forces, in unprecedented first time appearances and never-to-be-seen-again combinations administering sonic lobotomies furthering your quest for musical annihilation.”
