It never gets easier! Things I’ve said about dancing the opening of A Chorus Line and saying goodbye to it. I feel so fortunate to have done A Chorus Line 5 times now (in middle school, high school, the beginning of my career at 18 years old, and this summer at Barrington and Geva). The show never gets easier to do. In fact, it’s much harder now than it was at 18 or 14 or 13…. And it never gets easier to leave. There is something special about putting yourself out on the line and dancing for your life with your peers. I’m honored to have been surrounded by such titans of talent since June. I’m going to miss watching this entire cast give it their all every day. “The gift was ours to borrow.” Swipe to see how it started… I’m gonna miss doing this number with the incomparable @haleybjorn The Line! I’m pretty sure I’ve had the Val monologue & song memorized since the age of 8 (thanks @debd4t) so finally being able to perform it professionally has been kismet 🪐 I don’t think there was ever a day where I didn’t feel motivated to do the show during this run. A Chorus Line feeds you like no other show can! But I think what helps the most is a cast as talented and generous as this one. This was a perfect and greatly special experience and I am so sad it’s over. Grateful for all the things I’ve learned during my time with Valerie Clarke ( AKA Margret Mary Hoolihan ) I really hope this isn’t goodbye 💜 #achorusline #valforever 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

A birthday post will inevitably be a liiiiiittle corny. 🌽 • Another trip around the sun. Thirty to be precise. If I’m honest, as a kid I had so many ideas of what it would mean to be thirty. Every expectation has been exceeded. To be doing a performance of one of my favorite shows is itself such a gift. The people in my life, however, continue to remind me that the greatest gifts in life are the memories and who we share them with. On that note, @dancinchaz continues to go above and beyond in ways I can’t even describe. I am the luckiest to have him as my partner in this life. From late-night drive-ins to early morning brunches, the biggest waterfall in the US and a huge pit of corn - I will go anywhere with you.
