POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

If someone had told little Irene that one day she'd grow up to be a herbal witch, teaching adults about plants from a treehouse overlooking a lake...👀

...she probably would've replied:
"YES PLEASE, that's what I want to be when I grow up!" 🌳✨

Last month I was invited to facilitate a sustainable incense-making workshop at @equilibriofestival .

When I arrived and discovered my "classroom" was a treehouse nestled among the branches, my inner child couldn't stop smiling! 😍

We spent the afternoon exploring local aromatic plants, crafting smudge sticks, sharing stories, and remembering that the best classrooms don't have four walls. 😉

Thank you to everyone who joined this leafy little adventure, to @filmluar for her shots, to @terradpaz for welcoming us into her heart and waters. 🧚🏻‍♀️ And to @helenascleonardo & the rest of Equilibrio's dream team for having me and envisioning such a magical experience!

Equilibrio

A gathering of a few hundred people by an enormous lake in a desert-like landscape, far away from it all. @terradpaz as the canvas for our collective creation.

A container of peace, a triple shot of inspiration in every interaction, an invitation for expansion in all the phenomenal performances & workshops.

Waking up in my tent & rolling into the lake with the sound of hand pans around me, swimming in the pink sunset waters after a session in the floating sauna, dancing on top of a paddle board, seeing the moon set every night, falling over from laughter under a star-studded sky 🌅

A festival in the vast feeling of possibility it gave, a retreat in the nourishment it provided.

What a journey! What a motivation to keep growing, to offer myself with more generosity and grace, to release complacency and to continue to use my resources in the benefit of peace.

Obrigada to the entire Equipa - WOW ❤️

Viva a cantiga, que é uma arma!
Viva as @cantigasamesa!
Viva as adufeiras! 🎶

It was a soup. A cosmic soup.

The lake felt like soup.
My mattress was sweat soup.
Time was soup.
The experiences blended together like the ingredients of a soup — hazy, surreal, almost as if they had never happened on this plane.

Waking Life was a soup. A cosmic soup.

Like the alphabet soup my grandmother used to make us: nourishing, comforting, full of funky flavours, impossible to replicate even when you know all the ingredients... because it carried that special kind of love and intention that can't be copied.

WL alphabet soup's keywords:

Haircut, Portuguese arraial, side quests, giggles, cuddles, lake swims, naps, bass, shibari, musical discoveries, childlike curiosity, silliness, old-new friends, past-present-future loves, synchronicities, jams, turtle rock, mines, secret traps, treasure hunts, hammock swings, ambient, presence, joy, bike rides, freedom, breakthroughs, sunrises, sunsets, pirates, films, dust, sassiness, sexiness, electrolytes over morning oats, more side quests, waiting, being, sweating, getting lost, endings & new beginnings.

Three months later... and still digesting 🍲

Turns out I enjoy reliving memories almost as much as creating them. 🎞️
And some memories deserve a second bloom... 🪷

Here's a little rewind to MudRe Terra Festival back in late May. 🤍 To its music, its people, its magnificent old oak tree, its straw dancefloor (and wheelbarrow refills), its lake, its ambient cuddles, and our lil market family.

Some analog shots of mine, some digital ones from @jamiehughes_photography , enjoy! 📸

Thanks to MudRe's team for inviting me to guide a plant identification walk through @spirala.ecovillage enchanted lands, it was lovely 🧚🏻‍♀️🌳

As daylight softens into evening, the greenhouse becomes a space for slowing down. A herbalist with a passion for music and a musician who loves nature meet to guide you on a gentle immersive soundscape. Lie down, soften the senses and be carried by sound..

Following the Dream Plants tea ritual, guests are invited to remain (or arrive) for an ambient listening experience.

Together @dj_aluada @dalua.irene and @whoismeta_ weave a living soundscape where spacious ambient textures, subtle voice and deep bass create an atmosphere for rest, contemplation and imagination.

Inspired by the quiet intelligence of plants, the experience invites us to listen from a different perspective: one that doesn't rush or seek stimulation, but merely receives, attunes, and grows. Like a plant nourishing itself from light, moisture, gravity and vibration.
