❤️ MARENGO, YOU ASKED… AND WE’RE LISTENING! 🔥 First off, THANK YOU for another amazing weekend at DAMO BBQ! We love seeing familiar faces, meeting new friends, and hearing how much you want more opportunities to get your BBQ fix. ❤️ We’ve been getting lots of requests to open more often or stay open later, and we’re exploring what that could look like as the colder weather approaches. Since we’re still operating out of the truck while we work toward opening our building, we want to find a schedule that works for YOU and makes sense for the time it takes to prepare authentic, slow-smoked Central Texas BBQ with an Italian twist. 🔥🇮🇹 Would you rather see us open on Thursdays, stay open later on Saturdays, or something else entirely? 👇 *mHELP US DECIDE! 📲 Head over to our Instagram Stories and VOTE in our polls! 💬 Have another suggestion? Drop it in the comments! We can’t promise anything just yet, but we’re listening, exploring our options, and want to make it easier for you to get your DAMO BBQ fix. Thank you for supporting our little family-owned business and being part of this journey. We wouldn’t be here without you! ❤️ Maggie & Danny | DAMO BBQ #DAMOBBQ #MarengoIL #SupportLocal #CentralTexasBBQ #BBQWithAnItalianTwist

MARENGO, YOU SHOWED UP! ❤️🔥 We’re still smiling thinking about this past weekend! From the incredible turnout at Settlers Days to the amazing crowd that came out to see us downtown for Night on Main Street — you truly blew us away. And yes… YOU SOLD US OUT! 🙌 But the best part wasn’t just the BBQ. It was the familiar faces, the new friends, the family who showed up to help, and all the conversations and support that remind us why we’re doing this in the first place. ❤️ HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE GUY BEHIND DAMO BBQ.❤️ Today we celebrate Danny. My hubby. My best friend. My business partner. The pitmaster. And the guy who somehow convinced me that building a BBQ business together was a good idea. 😂 If you know DAMO, you know the food. But what you may not always see is the person behind it. The early mornings. The long prep days. The hours tending the pits. The experimenting, tweaking and trying to make everything just a little bit better. The setbacks. The challenges. The endless work that happens long before the truck window opens. Danny pours a whole lot of himself into DAMO BBQ. And we’ve been through a LOT to get where we are today. We’ve built this business together, changed locations, started over, dealt with more obstacles than I care to remember 😂, and somehow we’re still standing here—smoking meat, building a new home for DAMO in Marengo, and dreaming about what’s next. I’m incredibly proud of this guy. Not just because he’s a damn good pitmaster (IMO)… but because I know how hard he works, how much he cares, and how much of his heart goes into everything he does. And I wouldn’t want to be on this crazy ride with anyone else. So today, before we get back to BBQ, Settlers Days, the building, the truck, the cow who STILL doesn’t have a name 😂 and everything else happening around here… I want to wish my hubby a very Happy Birthday.❤️ If you see Danny around DAMO this weekend, make sure you give the birthday boy some love. 🎂 Happy Birthday, Danny. Here’s to another year, another chapter, and whatever crazy adventure we decide to take on next. — Maggie
