On a beautiful fall evening, we gathered with families, neighbors, and community leaders in our Peace Garden as three new murals were revealed for the first time.

The murals began this summer, when artist Damon Lamar Reed led our students through collage making as they reflected on their future and the future of their community. Volunteers from Prince of Peace Lutheran Church joined them for paint day, and Damon added the finishing touches in his studio before installing the murals in the garden.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us, to Melonie and Cocoa for guiding this project, @princeofpeacesaratoga for showing up for our community, Reverend @Jameslbrooks23 for helping us unveil the murals, and @damonlamarreed for artwork that will brighten our space for years to come.

Head to the website link in our bio to see the full gallery, from first clippings to final reveal.

Congratulations to Marlon Wayans for receiving His Career Achievement Award at the 62nd Annual International Film Fest in Chicago!!

Here are all the things I wanted to say lol

1. Come on suit!
2. Let's Gooo Cousin! 🗣Talk yo ____
3. Oooh, He wiped his face and no bejing on the towel 🤣 Look at God.
4. When the woman interrupted and you kept it mad professional 👌
5. Your vulnerability to cry was a blessing to see in a black man! Yet, I hoped that if you cried too hard people we wouldn't see a boogie in your pics
6. The love for your family is unparalleled.
7. I loved to see the beauty of your friendship with
@Omar Epps after so many years.

Continue to be the hero you are!

There are many like me praying that you walk into the fullness of every promise of God spoken over your life!

Blessings! #marlonwayans #omarepps #comedy #drama #film
