An elevated Paddington house party @casaferrariswhite for the launch of @koala “Paddo” sofa bed. We lived up to the house party so well that two of my besties ended up crashing on said sofa beds! Champagne, martinis, spritz’s, cheese burgers, fries, iced vovo ice-cream-sandwiches, trays of shots and vogue cigarettes. @mikkapedia bringing all the vibes and @danielhanslow capturing them. And the most talented @michellecoxmakeup gets all credit for any photo I look good in. Forty-eight hours in Brisbane. When @elleaus and @gourmettraveller send you to Brisbane for 48 hours to explore the city, consider me packed. From riding CityCats along the river and shopping on James Street, to galleries, rooftop pools, cocktails and long lunches by the water. Brisbane is easy to navigate, full of great food and design, and has a thriving arts and cultural scene. There was so much to explore- and even more to return for. @visitbrisbane #visitbrisbane The crudo yellowfin tuna toast at @bistro_tino in Fortitude Valley with anchovy butter and salsa verde on sourdough and a spritz. The perfect mid-shop snack. En route to the bar @heidimiddletonartclub is always a good idea. Bandit’s Post @stanley_restaurant Kaffir lime heaven. A quick lime scooter from The Howard Smith Warves and I managed to catch @dan_kyle solo show @edwinacorlette It’s giving Brooklyn @stanley_restaurant still thinking about this chicken dish Pesce spada cooked over coals A morning bun @idle.bakery Fin x

Incredibly proud of @_laura_jones_ and her fight for safe and sustainable development in Kurrajong and the Hawkesbury region. Even prouder when she used two of my favourite words - mundane and mediocrity - in rapid succession during her rousing speech to a huge crowd at 9:30 am on a Wednesday morning. With zero input from me!!! The politically diverse network Laura has helped build in a very short space of time through the @smart.growth.alliance is a true testament to how total strangers can be united by a mutual love of their local community and landscape. Perhaps best exemplified by the young tradie who drove past at the end, wound down the window of his 4WD, and shouted out: “Fuck KFC! Fuck Maccas!” Then did a u-turn to shout it twice
