Just got back our incredible photos from @simbana.photography of the @latinocannalliance Cafe de Communidad at @necanncon NJ in partnership with @bluntbrunch_ led by the amazing @adelia_fakhri_! The Latino power in the room was loud and proud, with folks representing dozens of different Latin American homelands.

@latinocannalliance is not even six months old yet and we’re already seeing how powerful a united latinidad in this space can be. From organizing the canna community to oppose ICE, facilitating connections among our Latin industry leaders, and empowering our people to take political action at the local, state and federal levels, we are building the infrastructure of real power, and we’re just getting started!

Huge special thanks to @adelia_fakhri_ for aligning forces with us to put on such an exciting event. ¡MUCHÍSIMAS GRACIAS HERMANA!

NECANN NJ Day 1 with @latinocannalliance was such a vibe! The passion and interest in mobilizing the Latino canna community was LOUD! Our table was bumpin all day and the sheer volume of Latino canna leaders in the room was unbelievable. Yes we have so much work to do, but it’s clear that we have a massive movement ready to help lift our community to all new levels.

Jersey City wants to spend up to $1.2 MILLION buying 128 Glenwood Avenue instead of letting four proposed homes get built.

An earlier county-referenced appraisal valued the property at $475,000 which is a $725,000 difference.

And $1 million would come from CDBG funds, which can support housing, infrastructure and neighborhood services.

After a 15% municipal tax increase and during a housing crisis, is taking this property off the tax rolls really the best decision?

Now they’re hosting a “Budget Launch Party.”

Such an amazing atmosphere at the Women in New Jersey Cannabis show, podcast, and party. So many driven entrepreneurs and creatives in one room, all building, connecting, and chasing big goals.
