Ahoy hoy! @dana.christopherson invited me to go live with her tonight for some drinkin’ and drawing! In the past I’ve been hesitant on going live because who knows what kind of dumb things might come out of my mouth, but Dana assures me it will probably be fine. So if you want to draw along with us or perhaps just tune in to hear me say some things I might regret, join us tonight at 8 EST (7CST, Dana’s time)

Celebrating the little victories! Got a nice surprise that a project I was part of won a @shortyawards !? Created some fun GIF stickers in collaboration with @dana.christopherson about a year ago and boy does that feel like ages ago! This definitely brightened up my week amongst the craziness that’s happening right now. Special thanks to everyone involved that helped led this lovely @target campaign: @ginamvo @karencioty @csmabbott @fatinomerabi
PS: am I an award winning designer now?? I need confirmation! ~ 🐍

Hi friendies! It’s @dana.christopherson here, another local letterer + @sotalettersco originals! I’ll be taking over the feed this week, sharing a little more about myself + the creatives who inspire me most ☺️
-
A little background on me: I’ve lived in Minneapolis for a little over 2 years now (and I lovelovelove it). I moved here from Milwaukee where I was working at the Milwaukee Art Museum doing exhibition and marketing design.
-
Currently, I am a graphic designer at Target HQ here in mpls. When I’m not working in the red and white world of Target you can catch me lettering with my cat, @keviethecat, brewery hopping, paddle boarding at Bde Maka Ska, or playing games + eating @ohmy.gouda’s decadent charcuterie boards with friends 🥰
-
I started lettering my sophomore year of college (8 yrs ago!) where I did an en entire year of lettering each day. From there I dabbled here and there until probably 2 years ago where I started practicing and being more intentional about my craft.
-
For me lettering is a great way to journal my thoughts. I’m definitely an oversharer with the hope that others can relate and feel heard / less alone. -
Sending love and health to each and every one you🙏🏼♥️✨
