Some spaces hold a piece of who you are. The Cal State Long Beach Dance Department will always be one of mine. 🤍

This weekend, Masters Pro Dance Workshop brought me back to my old stomping grounds—to take class from amazing people and dance alongside friends from my studio, college, and Disney days.

So much of my life in dance now involves teaching, guiding, and creating for others. Getting to be a student again, challenge myself, and simply dance filled a part of me I hadn’t realized needed it.

Thank you, Andy Vaca, Diane Bonds, and Jordyn Apostolache, for your choreography, energy, and inspiration.

Thank you @dancevac for creating such an amazing space for us to come home to.

Leaving with a full heart, a sore body, and gratitude for the people and places that have shaped me. ✨

🪩✨ All aboard the funkiest Soul Train in Los Angeles!

Disco Night at The Music Center’s Dance DTLA broke out in an incredible Soul Train that took over The Jerry Moss Plaza. We are sharing 60 straight seconds. No edits. No interruptions. Just pure disco joy and a dance floor full of unforgettable moments. 🕺💃

Thank you to everyone who joined us. The plaza was sparkling with funky moves, dazzling style and nonstop dancing from the first beat to the last.

A huge thank you to instructor @dancevac for infecting everyone with disco fever, @whackinglosangeles for serving an electrifying Whacking mini lesson, and DJ @dirty_dave for spinning wall-to-wall classics that kept the mirror ball turning all night long.

We’ll see you on the dance floor this Friday for Cumbia Night!
