Thank you, @soapboxproject, for having me back for a second year. Y’all are getting too good at throwing parties; what can you possibly do to live up to this reputation next year? 🤔

Nothing I say can describe the experience I had at @atlanticcenterforthearts with the artists of Residency #196. It was simply magical, my spirit house, an eye-opening way of living life through art and pure love.

Thank you to @johnheginbotham, @meglevin, and @greg.corbino for facilitating such an incredible 3 weeks, and mentoring us in dance, music, puppetry, climate activism, and the awful truth of the way our planet (and the species that live on it) is heading towards. It's never too late to change the course!

Sometimes you get a call and don't know it yet, but your life is about to change. It's taken me a week to process all the incredible things that happened at @atlanticcenterforthearts with my residency #196 cohort, and I don't think I will ever fully comprehend how special it was.

We danced, jiggled puppets, sung songs, rode bikes, shredded, and made WORK. The time that we had, the meals we ate, the people we were with, proved invaluable and I can honestly say that these are friends for life.

Words cannot express my sincere gratitude, joy, love, and heartfelt thanks to these people and this place. I found myself again, my drive, my creativity, my heart.

ACA Residency #196

I wish that I could bottle up every moment of these past three weeks. There are a million things I could say about the beautiful friendships, collaboration, and creation that unfolded (and how the support of abundant resources allows that to flourish)🫰🏻

Thank you to @johnheginbotham @oceanmusicaction @greg.corbino for bringing this to life, and sharing your vision and mentorship so generously with us. I’m so fueled, inspired, and fulfilled by all of the incredible artists at this residency— and I miss them so much already 🥹
