Spud and I helped out on a trail ride with three Saddles in Service heroes about to go to Wyoming. 12.5 miles of smiles and good times! Have fun and be safe in your trip, ladies. I’m very proud of the riders you have become! #spudthequarterhorse #saddlesinservice #youdonthavetoridealone #mountainlife #ranchlife

Feeling incredibly lucky that I get to call this my job.

Getting to lead these strong, incredible women through their horsemanship journey is something I’ll never take for granted. Watching their confidence grow, seeing them challenge themselves, trust their horses, and realize just how capable they are has been so special.

And now they’re off to Wyoming, where they get to put everything they’ve worked so hard for into practice. I couldn’t be more proud of these women or more grateful to have been a part of the journey that got them there.

I’m thankful ⬇️🥳👀 12 years ago I left the clinic because I wanted to improve a dogs life before they needed the vet office - and I thought rhyming Runway with Fenway was clever.

Most people lose power on kettlebell front squats because the bells drift forward.
That one mistake collapses your brace, pulls your chest down, and kills your drive out of the hole.

Today’s fix is simple:

Keep the bells tight and drive your elbows slightly forward.
Brace first. Move second.

Showed you the before, the fix, and the after so you can feel the difference on your next set.

KB FRONT SQUAT QUICK TIP

THE TIP

Keep the bells tight to your chest elbows forward, ribs down, brace locked.

This one cue fixes 90% of front‑squat issues.

THE MISTAKE

Letting the kettlebells float forward in the rack.

When the bells drift:

• Your torso collapses
• Your elbows drop
• Your brace leaks
• You get pulled forward
• You lose power out of the hole

This is why people feel “off‑balance” or “weak at the bottom.”

THE FIX

• Pull the bells in and up
• Drive elbows slightly forward
• Pin the handles to your forearms
• Ribs down
• Brace before you descend
• Sit between your hips, not behind them

This keeps your torso upright and your squat powerful.

WHY IT MATTERS

A tight rack =

• More stability
• More quad drive
• Cleaner depth
• Stronger posture
• More power out of the hole

This is how hybrid athletes get strong without sacrificing mobility or engine.
