I have a goal to raise $1,111+ for the Walk for Alopecia.

And I need your help. 💜

I’ve been living with alopecia since 2014, and finding thIs alopecia community in 2023 changed my experience of life.

I found people who understood.
I made new friends.
My family found community too.
I’ve had opportunities to share my story, speak, laugh, dance, connect, and give back.

Now I want to keep giving back.

I am walking for the version of me who lived with alopecia for 9 years before she found community.

Will you help me raise $1,111+?

Donate $11. $25. $50. $111. Whatever feels good to you. Every donation gets us closer to our goal.

And as a thank you, if you donate $25+, I’ll gift you a ticket to Finding Feathers Breathwork: Body Love on September 29. ❤️

We are Team Finding Feathers.

The flock flies together. 🪶

💜 Donate by following the link in the comments or message me and I'll personally send you the link.

I could have done a hundred other things with my Saturday morning.

There is always work to do, something to clean, something I could be catching up on.

Instead, I went to watch my husband river guide #piersgorge

As I stood on the side of the #menomineeriver watching the man I’ve built a life with do something he loves, I felt so much gratitude for making the choice to be there.

And I thought...

Damn. I married the hot river guide! 😂

I noticed myself fully fangirling over Dan.

And I love that.

After all these years together, I can still look at him and think, I really like and love you.

This moment reminded me of something I talk about often...

The relationship you have with yourself impacts the relationships you have with the people you love.

Slowing down has helped me become more present in my own life, to listen to myself, to notice what I love, and to actually make time for it.

And yes, sometimes that work happens through breathwork, coaching, reflection and courageous conversations.

But sometimes it happens on the side of a river on a Saturday morning, watching your husband send a raft through the rapids.

Make time for what you love.

This is your life. 💜 Be brave be you!

Before we found the @naaf_alopecia community,
There was us. ✨️

During the first 7 years of experiencing alopecia,
I didn't personally know anyone else experiencing the autoimmune disease.

My family surrounded me with love and support as best as they could

AND

I still felt isolated and alone in my experience and feelings.

Instead of staying in feelings of helplessness, I began to show up for myself in ways I never had before.

I began to nuture the relationship I had between my human and soul.

I began practicing mirrorwork, breathwork, meditation, and body love.

I began seeking answers about self-love and seeking truth within.

Then during one of my biggest super bloom fires 🔥 my mom found NAAF and invited me to go with her to the annual conference in Denver, CO.

The plot twist was that the conference was less than 2 weeks away.

I said yes.

And that's when one of the seeds from my soul superbloom 🌱cracked open and began to grow.

Now 4 years later...

It is such an honor to be attending and speaking at the NAAF Conference in Orlando, Florida surrounded by my biggest supporters, my family. 🌸

During this weekend's conference, I became aware that I do not only come to share the lessons I have learned with others experiencing alopecia...

I come for me.
I attend for community.
I make it a priority because I love connecting with my friends and making new connections.

And now, I no longer feel alone or isolated by alopecia.

Now, I feel like I have come home. ✨️

Thank you NAAF for creating spaces for all of us to come together and connect deeply about the alopecia experience. 🙏

I found my wedding vows today...

And I was not prepared to meet these new levels of love.
For me. For us.

We have been married 11 years.
Together for 17+ years.

We have grown so much as individuals and
as a couple.

I feel so proud of us and our story.

I feel so thankful we continue to choose love and choose each other.

There are moments in life that invite you to pause and witness what you’ve built...

This was one of them.

Thank you for being a part of this moment and for witnessing me.

Life gets to be this good. 😍🥹😭😭😭
