We didn’t open a cà phê to chase trends.
We opened it to slow time.

To be present. To trade distance for mornings, and boardrooms for a life built closer to our daughter. Chloé Cà Phê + Roastery began as a transition, but quickly became a commitment—to culture, to craft, to doing things the hard way because the right way leaves a mark.

Every decision is intentional.
Direct trade. Shared risk. Long flights. Longer nights.
Working hand-in-hand with farmers and producers so Vietnamese specialty coffee can be experienced at its absolute peak—uncompromised, unapologetic.

This shop carries her name for a reason. It’s a reminder that legacy isn’t loud—it’s built daily. That success means staying home. Raising her here, in the City of Trees. Creating something worthy of being passed down.

We come from South Sacramento.
Vietnamese immigrants who haven’t forgotten where we started.
But we’re here to show what’s possible—
that Vietnamese coffee belongs on the world stage, competing at the highest level, while inviting everyone into our culture.

Purpose over pace.
Craft over shortcuts.
Family over everything.

I am truly floored and honored that @motorfilmawards chose to honor our film @afterimage_en for Best Sound Design (along with two other awards!), a truly stacked category that included films like F1 and Mission Impossible.

Crafting the music and soundscape of Samurai Blue: Afterimage was a truly Herculean team effort, and this award would not be possible without the efforts of @dang.it.nathan, @wyatt_delta22, @justinvoegelin, and Jon Haightred.

Sadly, I was unable to attend the awards ceremony in London, but the team graciously brought my statuette back home, and I am stunned by how beautiful it looks.

Truly grateful for the industry validation for our indie animated pilot! Looking forward to sharing more good news about Samurai Blue soon. 🤩
