I’m so burnt but yesterday was worth it ✨ Blonde hair girl is on beach because summer is here. Very summer vibes. She is wearing a pink bathing suit which is summer trendy at siesta key beach

If you had told me on my birthday last year that I’d be leading my first Hikey with Mikey for my 28th birthday, I would not have believed you.

It’s hard to believe how many incredible souls have entered my life this last year, both pictured and not. Nearly every person here has been a connection I have formed and nurtured just in this last year.

I’m so grateful to have been able to celebrate with so many friends and chosen queer family. Thank you all.

RIP to subie 😢 read below if you wanna hear me get emo over a vehicle

this car made it into my life in august of 2021 when we were taking a trip with the end goal of making it to yellowstone. realizing the subaru would make the trip significantly easier than my car at the time, a much smaller nissan sentra, we were graciously offered by family to take this car across the country. very luckily so, as we left with a loaded back seat, trunk, and car-top carrier.

subie never left me after that. she moved from its original home in maine to florida, and once i got behind the wheel, she left brevard county to hit all four corners of the country and returned back to florida, eventually back to brevard.

since my initial adventure with her, subie has provided transportation for dozens of fun camping and hiking excursions, rides to visit and caretake for its original owners and got me to hundreds of jobs for work (and at times became a work station, see video). subie has taken care of my mental health by providing me the ability to find the right escape when i needed it. she has supported the community through giving me the ability to provide rides for others, become a reliable dd, and to fill the back with clothes, food, and other resources to distribute to others.

she made it to over 230,000 miles in 18 years of life. she essentially died of old age.

thank you for your comfort, stability, and consistency over the last three years. pepper and i both will miss you greatly. shoutout to this little guy at the end who came to watch with me as the truck took her away.
