Now I get why they call it a shower, because we were DRIPPING with love and support. It’s almost overwhelming- (or it could be the pregnancy hormones 😅). Thank you thank you to everyone who came, and gave, and helped, and danced, and sent messages, and celebrated our blessing with us. Yung Bae is so lucky to come into this village. ✨Happy 2 Year Anniversary to my album, ‘This Life’ !!✨ Thought I’d post some BTS & a *brief* story time from this epic video shoot with @danibarbieri.nyc & @joshweinhaus -

We picked up a beautiful 1960’s Mustang from a couple named Nick & Nicki (LOL)… we met an angel local man who took us out on his kayaks that day to shoot the water scenes & had the most insanely beautiful day that seemed like it was designed alongside our scheduled shot list. 🌅
The sentiments in this song were inspired by loved ones me and my co-writer Joe Crispiano have lost to cancer… Director @danibarbieri.nyc had tried to prep me to be able to tap into my *emotions* for the video shoot as i don’t have a lot of experience doing that on command aka acting lol and just as we’re doing our last go around in the convertible we pull up behind a motorcycle gang who’s jackets read ‘Fuck Cancer’ … it was like my angels above directing the video saying ‘let her rip girl!’ and with a little help from the universe we captured that very real grief.
Anyway, it was a magical day and I’m so grateful to be able to create art with my friends! If you haven’t, go watch our video for the title track of my album ‘This Life’
