Confession. My watercolors have been in storage since September. I think after I prep for tax season I’ll treat myself to a trip to grab them. Feeling like I need some paint meditations. Been writing some poetry lately too. Its how Ive been easing back into creative practice after some depressing months. My husband died in December so Ive been focusing on surviving my daily feelings. But I also know that by doing the sometimes empty motions of creativity will help me get back to a more satisfying expression. The poetry has been helping a lot. But its pretty sad so far so I don’t think Ill be posting many here. If you’re desperate for that kind of work you can find it on my personal ig.

My man @thedavidhayes killed it at Leadership Development Weekend in #LA and the mans affinity toward science was bomb.
A little LDW tradition portrait sketch and I got his John Hancock!

Nugget of truth right here folks.
Compliments of @theindiechicks
Most of us are guilty of the self-hate, when all we need to do is learn how to love ourselves and our bodies, and they will love us back. It's just like any relationship you build with another person.
