The Monochrome Room, 2026
Oil on Linen Canvas
90 x 120 x 5 cm

Inspired by Andrei Tarkovsky’s film Nostalghia, this painting transforms a dark, stage-like room into a metaphor for identity. As figures enter through open windows, they challenge the narratives we build about ourselves. The viewer is invited to discover their own interpretation.

Theatre of the Inside — Reflections

Seven artists, seven perspectives, and different ways of experiencing the human condition.

Through the voices of its visitors, Theatre of the Inside becomes an encounter with the intimate, the unsettling, and the unspoken where art moves beyond the act of looking and becomes something deeply felt.

Perhaps art doesn’t always need to be understood. Sometimes, it simply needs to be felt.

A glimpse into the audience’s responses at the opening of Theatre of the Inside, presented by @bridgeartagency × Onnalin at ASVIN, Bangkok.

Seven artists. Seven perspectives. One stage for the inner self.

Theatre of the Inside brings together Abd Kasha, Daniela Astone, Giovanni Lopez, Chattakan Vongsiri, Noppanan Thannaree, Rachata Siriyakul, and Onnalin Lojanagosin, each revealing a different side of the human experience.

Beautiful, unsettling, haunting, or deeply moving. And sometimes, art is more than what meets the eye, it’s something you can almost smell. Raw, fleshy, and visceral, the experience invites you to go beyond looking and truly feel.

Perhaps art doesn’t always need to be understood. Sometimes, it needs to be felt.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the opening reception and became part of this experience.

May the works disturb you, touch you, and stay with you.

"There is something strangely timeless about Italian artist Daniela Astone’s paintings. Rooted in the traditions of classical figurative art yet untethered from the constraints of reality, her figures inhabit mysterious worlds where gravity seems optional, scale shifts, and fragments of landscape, memory, and imagination converge. Beautifully rendered bodies possess the solidity of sculpture, while the spaces surrounding them resist easy interpretation. They feel at once ancient and contemporary – glimpses into what Daniela describes as a “collective dream.”

Surrounded by nature, you’ll have the opportunity to paint various scenes, including the woodland, reflections in the pond, layers of hills in the distance, at different times of the day, including a sunset painting session.
