Tash Walker is a writer, poet and audio producer whose work centres on LGBTQ+ lives, British queer history, and the radical act of listening. Their poetry has been broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and published in fourteen poems and by new words (press). They are the co-author, with Adam Zmith, of The Log Books. Voices of Queer Britain and the Helpline that Listened (Faber, 2026).

Danielle Wilde

Danielle Wilde is a poet and writer from Yorkshire. Her work examines class, culture, desire and the queer hauntology of the North. Her words have appeared in Vogue, Dazed, Stylist and the fevered dreamscapes of tracksuit nihilists across the West Riding.

She has performed for Queer Bloomsbury festival at Charleston House, LGBTQ+ Late at Wallace Collection, Outspoken at South Bank Centre and as part of Caleb Femi's Stoghouse collective for Deptford Literature Festival and Bold Tendencies. Her first pamphlet Deep North was published by FEM Press in 2024 and her sonnet cycle Saint Joan of BFD was published in 2025 as part of her residency with Wild Pansy Press at Florence Trust.

She is currently working on her first collection, North Sea Scrolls, a queering of the canonical Bible set in the Hull punk/ DIY scene of the early 2000s

Chloe Filani

Artist, performer, poet and writer working with and in her lived experiences as a black trans woman of Nigerian Yoruba and Eshan heritage. Examining broader themes of identity and power structures, Filani's work is about going on artistic journeys with play, movement and vocal expression, using her body to communicate the artistic self. Her 2023 collection A LADY OF THE NIGHT, A VICTORIAN TALE, is published by Montez Press. CHANGE, her episode of Anthems a poetry podcast.

Finn is a queer and non-binary writer and artist, and an editor, the designer event producer and a curator at CART Finn'

24 hours in Edinburgh to celebrate the opening of ‘Catherine Opie: To be Seen’ at @nationalgalleriesscot. I wasn’t quite prepared for how much this show, which comes from @nationalportraitgallery in London, would take on a completely new life in this setting. The work has an even bigger impact in the grand and ornate galleries of the Scottish Royal Academy. Cathy’s approach to photography continually references art history, from her use of light and colour, and the poses she directs, to the way she honours her subjects, members of her own community. In this exhibition a carefully selected group of historical paintings from the Scottish National Gallery collection, from Picasso and Hödler to 18th C tartan portraits, are interspersed amongst Cathy’s photographs. The pairings are gorgeous - so many goosebump moments - it makes you look at Cathy’s work and the art historical canon in new ways.

Also, I was working as an invigilator at the national gallery when I was an undergrad in Edinburgh 20 years ago, it was literally during one of my shifts that I accepted to myself that I was a lesbian and decided to come out, I don’t think I’d have believed I’d be back 20 years later to see the gallery walls full of dykes and queers 🥹

Bravo @csopie @ig5523 @annielyden @nationalgalleriesscot and everyone involved in this brilliant show. The exhibition opens tomorrow and runs until 1 Nov ✨

Each day is themed around an element of the book: RADICAL SPACES, PERFORMANCE QUEERED, and THE HAUNTED BODY - and will feature readings, a commissioned solo exhibition from @withamemily workshops, conversations, and many many books. In the depths of the body, lies its spiritual heart (or is it a club, or is it an engine room, or is it….) the rhythmic beat of production soundtracks a space of both violent intimacy and collective experience. Hushed conversation, machinery drone, cello sonorous and toy piano improvisation from Perry’s daughter combine into a heady and at once familiar narration that invokes fragmentary memory. This is a nervous system in reset and release.  BPM is industrial materials and carceral geography made sculptural installation, rattling and echoing through a space at once expansive and claustrophobic; personal in a way almost rapturous. Snaking and twisting pipes writhe into serpent-like heads with sub-woofer faces; greeted by the gestural (de)FENDER, clawing its way.  Assembled from salvaged industrial piping and caging; and embellished and fastened with the industrial love note of the padlock; the bunker installation made up of FENDER//RECKLESS ICONS//BPM(THRASH) is Perry’s inner world embodied. Personifying and somatically charging the architectural and industrial framework with its own life.
