Today we’re celebrating the amazing coaches who bring the energy, encouragement, accountability, and just the right amount of push to OTF Bay Ridge every day. 🍊🔥

And remember, saying thank you doesn’t have to be big! Showing up, giving your best effort, taking the coach’s cues, leaving a little note, giving them a high-five, shouting them out, or simply telling them how much they’ve made a difference can mean SO much. 🧡

ONE YEAR OF RECOVERY ZONE 🤍

A year ago, what started as an idea, a hand-drawn plan and a vision officially became Recovery Zone.
⠀
But looking back at these videos reminds us that this place was never built by just one person.
⠀
It took family, friends, the Bad Ass Academy family @badassacademy @iamanthonyespo , our staff, and so many people who showed up, helped, supported the vision and became part of the process along the way.
⠀
The Sarrica family quite literally got their hands dirty building it. And yes, Mrs. Sarrica @patcellvalgianari deserves proper credit for that faux grass 🌿😂 — the indoor “landscaping” did not install itself.

And of course there’s our team — the people who took a newly built space and gave it its purpose: @kristina.korobova_ , @anthony.giannone , @nickmenedes , @peteratanasio
⠀
Nan @fashionnanny who was there in the early days, helping with marketing and design and shaping how Recovery Zone would come to life.
⠀
Every person who has worked with us, supported us, shared their knowledge and, most importantly, provided great care to the people who have walked through our doors has helped make Recovery Zone what it is today.
⠀
Over this first year, we’ve had the privilege of helping people recover, move better, get back to training, prepare for races, work through aches and pains, and simply take better care of their bodies.

So today isn’t only about celebrating one year of Recovery Zone.
⠀
It’s about celebrating everyone who helped build it, everyone who helped it grow, everyone who has been part of our team — and every person who has trusted us with their recovery.

And to our clients: thank you for trusting us, supporting us and giving us the opportunity to do what Recovery Zone was created to do❤️

Happy 1st Anniversary, Recovery Zone. 🎉

Day 5/6 - Charlotte NC - here for another couple of days but between Saturday and Sunday, the theme was about getting fed.

Sometimes just ‘an hour’ is all you need

Physically with Sustenance (Peruvian Sandwich) and Kettlebells in a mall parking lot opposite a trail
Spiritually fed with the Gospel
Emotionally with the sounds of live music, one simple encounter was a cool start to a night I’d enjoy in simple tastes
The black tanks were just coincidence 🤣
